Elite wifi discount

Boarding the Reflection in a week. We are both Elite status

Our BCC cruise does not include the "free" amenities.

What's the best way to apply the 30% wifi discount.  I see they are already offering a pre sailing discount.  Wondering if the elite discount can be "stacked " in combination with the pre sailing discount?

I just upgraded yesterday.  We received the Elite 30% discount.  The cost of upgrading for a 7 day cruise was $63.

Call Captains Club 800-760-0654. I just did it yesterday and upgraded our WIFI. You have to ask to have your discount applied. I also had to ask that my OBC be used for payment. Easy, peasy.

When you board the ship and log into the wifi you'll have the option to purchase the wifi with CC discount

If you do it beforehand you can stack the pre-cruise discount with the Captains Club percentage off.

Negative ghost rider, the do not stack

They just did for me last week, and have for previous cruises.  The E+ discount was applied to the price in the difference in the Cruise Planner for both wi-fi and beverage upgrade.

I have been repeatedly denied when on the phone; told to pick one discount.  So you just called the Capts Club, asked for the pre-sail discount (often 14%) and had it stack with your CC discount of 35% so received 49% off?

Same question, this was over the phone calling the Capt's club?

Yes. I told them I wanted to upgrade WIFI and use my Captains Club discount.  They figured the total on the discounted pre-cruise price.

The difference between the pre-cruise basic and premium  internet was $13.  I got 30% off that difference.  Quick transaction over the phone.

They do stack. We are elite going on Reflection on 2/19 and Beyond 2/26. One device cheapest WiFi service is $83.93 for the week.  That is $11.99 a day. We will get 90 minutes premium internet also.  We’ll get that on ship when it is best time to use it. Also, remember that St. Thomas is US, so we can use our Verizon phone package there just like at home.

You do have to call Captains Club to get discount prior to cruise.

I had called Captain's Club during the week and was on hold for 90 minutes and hung up.  Yesterday, I called  the Celebrity's number on my reservation and, to my surprise, someone immediately answered and took care of the upgrade very quickly.  Shocking...😀

So glad I looked at this thread.  After reading the comments, and knowing that my DH would likely want to upgrade our internet access, I got on the X website to explore the differences in pricing for our upcoming cruise.  In looking at my account and our cruise planner, I noticed that none of our CC club points were showing and we were now showing zero points instead of our elite level.  Same thing on my app.  I called CC and was able to right away speak to a really nice, efficient agent.  He noted that there is an issue now with their site, but all is good. While I had him on the phone I asked about my recent upgrade in my bev package from classic to premium.  When I did that several weeks ago, the agent didn't seem to have a good handle on it, and it seemed off to me.  I asked this guy about it, and he confirmed that we had paid too much, so he reversed it - we now have more OBC back.   .......... and yes, we can stack our elite internet discount with the pre-cruise discount 🙂

Captains Club is 800-760-0654.  I have it in my contacts list. It’s what I called.

Just got off the phone with Captains Club dialing the above number. They were going to transfer me to Blue Chip Club since my sailing is a casino comped cruise but after 20 minutes on hold (the original customer service agent was actually on hold to transfer the call ) the agent proactively asked her supervisor if she can go ahead and process the wifi purchase and was given the OK, so all went well and I was given both the pre-cruise discount AND the Elite+ discount!

Coincidentally, us too!  However, was a much longer than expected process (39mins total, 10mins initially waiting for a rep) as was repeatedly put on hold; we’re also BCC so perhaps they need supervisor approval or something.  Wasn’t the easy as 1-2-3 “here’s my booking number, I’d like this Wi-Fi package and here’s my credit card” as I envisioned but totally worth the wait
