15 drink limit?

They brought back that you could now buy ONE bottle for the room.  The new pricing now makes me think twice about actually doing it though

We boarded the Mardi Gras yesterday. There was a fellow in the casino at 8:00 p.m. who had already hit his 15 drink limit. That's pretty impressive, given that he likely didn't start drinking until noon. As an aside, shortly thereafter, he also hit the $5,000 daily limit for charging chips to his Sail & Sign card!

We purchased a bottle of Grey Goose for our cabin, it came to something like $180+ after delivery fee and gratuity.  Heck, I'd be happy to go pick it up somewhere and skip the delivery fee, lol!

Like room service, the prices are now punitive.

There is actually. I can attest from last week :-). I was purchasing both my wifes and mine on my card the first day and got cut off! Hahaha, from then on we just switched back and forth

How do they keep a count of how many someone has at the Diamond/Platinum party?.....or that a loophole?

Loophole.  And on the excel class ships since they only serve wine at the party, they add an extra drink to your account which I believe allows you to get a 16th drink.

They don't ring them up under your folio so it's a loophole! :classic_cool:

For guests who pre-purchase CHEERS!, it will be activated upon boarding the ship (except for ships sailing from Texas and New York – activation will occur at 6:00am on the second day of the cruise). Guests are instructed to proceed to the bar, once on board, to receive a sticker which will be placed on their Sail & Sign® cards

Do they still put stickers on the S&S Cards? When we sailed in November, I don't recall getting a sticker on the cards for Cheers.

I'm sorry, I don't know if they still do.  It's been many years since I bought CHEERS!  Hopefully someone else here can answer.🙂

No more stickers

Recently, we did get Cheers stickers on our cards.  Magic in Dec 2022.  Well, if I am remembering correctly.  I'm not near my S&S card collection to check...

Previous two or three cruises didn't seem to have them, IIRC.

I think it is a YMMV thing.

yes and no. Two cruises this year. Both cheers. One with sticker. One without.

Had to get my card replaced and never got a new sticker. No issues.

I wonder if they still put a sticker on the card if you have FTTF? That's pretty much the only thing that really needs a sticker anyway.

We have a "Suite Guest" sticker on ours this week, not that it matters much I suppose. We also have the drinks everywhere casino promo, but no designation on the card. It does show up on receipts though.

Quoting myself as a fact-checker should... 😉

Our last cruise (Magic, Dec 2022) had a Cheers sticker.  The previous two cruises, both in 2021, different ships, did not.  Before that (on our last cruise before the shutdown hit), in late 2019, had stickers.  The cruises prior to that were also a mixed bag.  So definitely seems to be something bartenders remember to do on the first day or they don't.  🤷‍♂️
