B2B second week check in

Recommended Posts

First B2B coming up in May! 🎉 I check in for leg one tomorrow, and leg two next week. I am assuming that boarding time for leg two is not at all important, is that accurate? We prefer earlier boarding, but I don't think it will make any difference what window I pick in this case. If that's true, I guess I'll pick a later one to allow better access to the easier slots for those who actually need it?

You are correct. No need to take and early time. Last day On board you will meet around 9am and get new sea pass and once zero count on 1st cruise you will be escorted off through customs facial recognition and back on board for your second voyadw

From our experience we check in for each but choose a late time for the second to free up the early space for someone else.  You actually do not have to check in for the second as they will know on board, but if you don't you may be asked to got to Customer service and give them your credit card info as that does not travel with the reservation.

Enjoy your B2B. Once you do a B2B it's hard to go back, 🍷

The check in time for the second cruise does not matter.  Like you and others have stated, we also select a late time to free up the early slots for folks coming on.

You will get a letter with instructions. If you have any questions, see guest services.

We are B2B in May as well.  What ship/dates?

Have fun

I recently did a b2b, and I found out that you cannot check in using the app while connected to the ship wifi.  It just won't let you even if the cruise is still open for check online check in.

However, it doesn't matter as everything is done for you and they easily port all the info to your new sailing.  Also, they *may* tell you that you do not need to do your muster, but I would just in case.  I was told that I didn't have to, but the muster station on the 2nd leg said that information is incorrect and that I needed to check in (which i did).

Good to know about muster. Honestly this new system is so quick and easy I'll probably just check in to be safe (see what I did there?)

I have a related question- if we are B2B but changing rooms and in 2 different rooms on the second leg (traveling alone with my son on first leg and the rest of the family is joining the second leg, so my son will be in a room with another family member more than likely), will this be an issue?  My son is 10.  Beginning to wonder if I will have to book us together for both legs, though I wanted to book myself as a single passenger in double to get the extra points on my account.

You will each pack your own things at the end of the first cruise and leave them in your first cabin for the cabin attendants to move.  It would be a good idea to print out luggage tags for the second cruise and affix them to the appropriate bags.  Talk to both the old and the new stewards before the end of cruise #1.  Or put only your new cabin number on all bags and give your son his bags later in the day.  (probably would be less confusing for stewards that way). During the turnaround process, he will stay with you, so that's taken care of.

Everyone has to muster.

We've done dozens of B2B (B3B, B4B S2S) and have had to muster on EVERY SINGLE ONE.    It is a coast guard requirement.   Prior to e-muster, the announcement even mentioned that you need to go the muster drill even if you have cruised with Royal Caribbean in the past.

You will need to muster for every cruise, regardless if  it is a B2B.
