I am Diamond Plus at 340 points.  Called C&A yesterday to select a tote bag as one of our amenities on our next cruise.  Response: Those have been discontinued"

Really, 3 weeks later no tote bags, only toiletry bags ?  Amazing or business as usual ?  Will be surprised if my current selected amenities make it to our stateroom.

Guess I can keep calling at intervals and see if anything changes.  We don't sail until next March so maybe the supplies will ramp up or something .  LOL

I just updated mine last night about 15 minutes before they closed. Tote bag was one of them with no issues. This is business as usual.. one of the few companies I deal with where the people who represent the company generally have no clue about the company. Apparently Royal likes it that way.

Thanks for reminding me!  I kept forgetting to call and choose ours because I kept dreading it thinking I’d be on hold for a while. Got right through and was off the call in 4 minutes from the time I dialed. Easy peasy though I’d much prefer logging into my account online to do it myself…

Boarded EX today.  To my great surprise, all of my Cokes (16 of them) and waters were delivered.  I was happy but surprised.  I just want my Cokes - they can keep their totes, toiletry bags, beach towels, cheap-ass slippers and whatever else they try and pass off.  I hope it continues !

Had no issues at all adding it a month ago.  I would call and try again.

I just tried calling to change mine and got a message that our offices are closed already.  The flyer says they are open until 8pm today it's not even 8pm yet.

 

 

Brand new flyer also.  They really should allow you to select this stuff online instead of having to call them.  I will let you know what they say when I call back tomorrow.

If you don't call them is the default what your present selections are.

They recently changed the tote bag from the heavy dark blue one to the blue and white stripe one that is foldable and opens out to more of a beach bag. It is really nice and has a zipper on top.

I am going to keep trying. As much as I tried to convince her it was available she kept saying it wasn't. Even put me on hold and supposedly checked with someone else. 😉

They look very nice and I have no desire for the toiletry bag. Got one of those years ago. Sigh.

So great to see you sailing & on the boards again!  Are you just going from ship to ship to ship now?

I have a theory they took away the online to discourage people from switching. I know I put off calling. Maybe they found a lot of people switched (not that it should matter) when it was online and not so much now. Seems silly IMO.

Thank you !  It’s so great to be cruising again.

 

It kinda seems like we’re just jumping from ship to ship !  Things will slow down for us after May.  The casino comps are few and far between during the summer.  We have a shorty on Serenade in July but that’s the only summer cruise we have booked.  Making up for lost time !

So Called again today, and now saying it was removed because they are "temporarily" out of stock.

Guess I'll call every day in the hopes they actually become available again.  Have 340 days until sailing so maybe their stock will magically ramp up.  Sigh.
