Currently on Mexican Riveria cruise.

Might have over $10k cash because casino. (yeah!)

Can't figure out how to add Port of LA (Worldport LA) to CBP app.

Any help?

As best I can tell you can't use it at the Port of Los Angeles at present.

There only a few cruise ports where it can be used, and Los Angeles isn't on the list.

I just looked on the CBP and do see the challenge!  Only 4 ports listed!  I wonder what would happen if you declared to the officer who does the face scan at the terminal when you disembark?  You can message me if you want me to do any research for you.

Just off the Bliss, our group having a discussion about winning in the Casino, lol. no one did.  But Question, if a big win like poster, outside of the US in international waters , do you need to declare this on your US Income Tax return.  Know in US casinos if you win over $600 or so, they make you fill out a form right there and do turn it into IRS.  On the Ship, (original poster) did you sign any US tax documents when you won big time?  Know this is not about declaring money coming off the Ship, but just a wondering??

You need to complete the online FinCEN form

https://fincen105.cbp.dhs.gov/#/

If CBP decides they need a paper customs form (which they technically do), they will hand you one. But they want the $10K declaration online

It is exactly like a land-based casino. If you have a slot machine hand-pay of over $1199, the ship will generate a W2 form for you and report it to the IRS.
