So generously magniloquent of you, Emperor Highness.😁 🏴‍☠️

I had to google that $10 word you used. I resemble that remark!  :classic_biggrin:

After lunch I head back into the water. From this point on the camera was pretty much put away for the afternoon. We just lazed around in and out of the water. As the day wound down, I got another shot of Patti and the Celebration…..

Want to give a shout out to our lifeguard who kept us safe, and to security who made sure that only the people that belonged here were in here…..

At 4pm we decided to pack up and head back to the ship. We paid our tab and gave our server, Johan, a very generous tip. I’m sorry we didn’t get a picture of him. We got on the Magical Flying Beach Chairs for the ride back over to the other side…..

Once we were back on board we hung out in the cabin until about 5:30 when we went out on our balcony. Mahogany Beach was now deserted. This is where we were today…..

Here are some views of an empty Mahogany Beach…..

The last passengers are getting on, and the crew is starting to stow the gangway…..

Everyone must have gotten back early, so Captain Alcaras sails fifteen minutes early…..

At 6:45pm we made our way down to Center Stage to get our cards (3 for $50), for the 7:30pm Deal or No Deal show, hosted by Cruise Director Lee…..

i-4h5CGZP-X2.jpg

i-zhH5dR2-X2.jpg

Audrey B was the first player selected and she selected Case # 13…..

i-6fdHWn7-X2.jpg

i-mdP92dD-X2.jpg

She had a strong board all the way through the game….

i-VpwWNXk-X2.jpg

i-pvTvcKg-X2.jpg

i-WQfdmgM-X2.jpg

She smartly took the $218 offer, but in the end the $1000 was in her case!

i-Mp9c4Gk-X2.jpg

i-D4GLwwj-X2.jpg

The second player was Debra S, and she was out of it very quickly…..

i-36T9HRw-X2.jpg

i-XjX4ZZ3-X2.jpg

She didn’t take the Banker’s final offer and won $.50……

i-Fg7PXDX-X2.jpg

i-rqx3Fhn-X2.jpg

i-QZSqRbc-X2.jpg

Our cards did pretty well. We won two $30 casino fun plays, and a $25 Bingo package, for a net win of $35. We decided to head up to the Marketplace for dinner. Patti just made herself a salad…….

i-Lsb2D5L-X2.jpg

I sampled a little bit of everything including some sliced ham, bbq spare-ribs, shrimp creole, and jambalaya……

i-xkVwS4L-X2.jpg

We then went back by the Tides Bar and got some ice cream. Afterwards, Patti was going back to the cabin to watch a movie, but first she stopped to get her bottle of water, pick up our embarkation picture, and pick up our VIFP gifts. I went down to the Alchemy Bar for some Pain Reliefs with Nikola, after which I returned to the cabin. Here is tonight’s towel animal…..

This is my view of the Celebration from where I sit…..

i-gWTtH83-X2.jpg

Patti gets a few more views of the cabana area, including the Grand Cabana…..

Just a heartfelt thank you Jeff to you and Patti for the time and effort you put into these reviews. I so look forward to each one after I know you've cruised. These have gotten me through many a boring day in the office, reminding me of places I've been and seeing what I hopefully get to see on a future cruise

I've never been more fascinated to read that someone ate boneless wings and loaded fries at a Ruby Tuesday's, yet here I am riveted.🙂

So again, many thanks-much appreciated

Jeff, how was the walk from the flying beach chairs to the cabanas? We have one booked in August and I have a bit of a gimpy hip issue myself. Is it paved or do you have to trudge through the sand?

Thanks for the review, loved the Celebration in Jan. Booked on this same itinerary on MG this summer

It's only a five minute walk. You can either walk the sand or a paved path. Enjoy! 😎

I am starting to follow along like some of the other posters here. I am in the "thinking" mode of doing the Celebration or the Panorama in February next year with about 7 other family members. This will give me an IDEA of what the Celebration is all about. 🙂

As I'm following along (I just posted earlier I am in the "thinking" mode of doing the Celebration with 7 other people), the name Havana has been mentioned more than one time. I that a special area for people that have PAID more, or what???

Glad to have you with us, and I hope this review is able to help with any decisions you need to make. You do pay more for a Havana cabin which gives you access to the outside Havana area. Personally, we wouldn't book one of these on the Mardi Gras, Celebration, or the Jubilee. For us, it's a must on the Vista Class ships. The outside Havana area on these ships is much, much nicer! :classic_cool:

The Panorama will be cold first day going and last day coming back. I would think the Celebration would offer warmer weather that time of year.
