When do you deal with US Customs?

Dealing with customs getting off a cruise ship is a walk by.  CBP already has your passport details and history.   Being Canadian you might be asked if you have anything to declare.  Maybe not.  You usually will be cleared on board ship in the theatre.

Similar to my last 4 trips to Canada.   The last three asked how long I was staying and if the car was a rental.  Nothing else.

US and Canada share data.
