Rare BirdTravels Posted May 14, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2023 Join the Bird for a Western Caribbean holiday, featuring port calls in Honduras, Belize, and Mexico. Last year, The Bird was booked on an Escape voyage that was cancelled after she grounded herself leaving the Dominican Republic. So, a little over a year later, The Birds are completing a springtime escape on the Norwegian Escape. On November 11, 2015, The Bird was on the inaugural voyage of the Escape from Miami after her christening by godfather Pitbull. This will be The Bird’s 5th voyage on the beautiful Norwegian Escape. She has approximately 1700 hardworking crew members to ensure that we have a wonderful cruise. She was the first Breakaway Plus class ships followed by the Joy, Bliss and Encore. Rare BirdTravels Posted May 14, 2023 Author #6 Share Posted May 14, 2023 (edited) If you are in the Haven, check in with the shore staff outside the terminal door. You will be escorted to a private elevator, Haven security screening, and the haven waiting lounge. Edited May 14, 2023 by BirdTravels

Rare BirdTravels Posted May 14, 2023 Author #11 Share Posted May 14, 2023 It’s 10:45 and there are still long lines of people snaking down the gangway and down to Customs. According to the shore staff, CBP is doing a “good screening” of disembarking passengers. (The Bird doesn’t think that our boarding will start on time at 11:00 am). We’ll see a bunch of posts on how NCL’s disembarkation made them miss their flight. When CBP is actually doing their jobs today. 3

Rare BirdTravels Posted May 14, 2023 Author #14 Share Posted May 14, 2023 (edited) Although The Bird has not seen this before on the Escape…. Probably has to do with the fact that staterooms are not promised until 3 pm. Edited May 14, 2023 by BirdTravels

Rare BirdTravels Posted May 14, 2023 Author #25 Share Posted May 14, 2023 The Birds booked in the short period that water was a perk. So we got 4 small latitudes water and 12 1-liter free at sea water.
