Kennedy Space Center Tour

Hi! Very late flight out of Orlando on return to port , I booked the Kennedy Space Center tour, it says it is 6 hours  long. Has anyone taken this excursion? Any other suggestions for things to do in Orlando?

Space center tour is well worth the time, especially for anyone who has not been there yet. Could have really used more time there since ours, as I recall, was a bit shorter.

KSC is a good thing to do and there is enough to do to eat a day but (at least as I recall) the price isnt crazy enough that if you cant spend the whole day that its not worth admission.

 

Looked at the "excursions" that were offered to Disney...thats just crazy for about 3 hours and doesn't include the ticket.

We did the excursion thru Royal and it was a good & amazing 6 hours.  It's about a bit over an hour from terminal to the KSC and the price at that time was reasonable.  We are going there again on August 20 Oasis sail and the price was still reasonable @ $74.99 and in October it rises to $118 pp.  D

I've done the tour many times.  It's literally just transport to and from Kennedy Space Center.  You're on your own the rest of the time.

First time we did the KSC it was during a port stop with RCI their "Snowbird Itinerary" from Quebec City to Fort Lauderdale. Booked it through the cruise planner and it was just great.

 

We had a wonderful local driver/guide and she stayed with our excursion group inside the complex the entire time.

We had full day tour with Royal and it was amazing. We actually could use more time! Nice expositions, 3d movies. Very exciting.

Is yours a guided tour? Ours was the ride to and from the ship, including admission, but no formal tour. We made sure to check out the KSC website before sailing to explore the exhibits, and prioritize the ones that we didn’t want to miss since it wasn’t a full day in port.  We had a great time and will be returning next cruise.

We went a couple of years ago and there were 2 different excursions. One was "just" transportation there and back and the other included a "subset" of the "official" guided tour.

This tour has never been offered on my cruises.  I'd love to take advantage of this excursion
