Boarding the Beyond in Civitaveccia in Sep. Will the MC bar be open prior to sail away? Trying to plan a good spot to meet up with folks we’ve met on line other than the Sunset Bar which will likely be pretty crowded.

Sunset Bar was way too crowded for our BEYOND Carib  Sailaway get together.  it was a mad house, folks very spread out,  too loud  .hard to get drinks or seats. It was not a successful party.

I'd pick some other place....like the bar in EDEN if it is open.. There are outdoor areas  to enjoy once you get a drink.

Groups like to meet up there; there can be multiple group meet ups there

We tried it for sail away, there were about 40 of us and it  just didn’t work.  Most  of us moved to the Sunset bar.

We met for our Sail away at Sunset Bar for Civitavecchia last August from FB group and it is fine. It is busy but not packed and had great music and we had a ball as we set sail! Magic Carpet open but fairly small if a few of you there.

We found most seating surprisingly uncomfortable but one doesn't have to sit.  These chairs are too low and the sofa cushion you sit on is too deep and apparently made for those are who 6'6 and taller.  Lastly, if you're social, the seating is arranged in a way to keep groups together making it difficult to talk to a fellow social cruiser
