Good morning.

Last full day on cruise.

Woke up to the mighty toilets not working.

Then they flushed on their own.

Breakfast now.

Then the dreaded packing.

Be safe.

It is already coming to an end???🤨

Enjoy Victoria.  Hope that disembarking and getting ground transportation is as easy as your embarkation.

Expect cloudy skies in Seattle tomorrow, and morning temps in the high 50's - low 60's.  Pier 91 can be quite cool if there is a marine cloud layer and wind.  You may want to have a light jacket / windbreaker available to wear.  Do check the latest weather from the ship.

We were invited to a tour of the bridge today, as suite guest.

We met on deck 12 by forward elevators.

Signed our waver.

Hand metal detector by security.

Phone call made by Junior (concierge) to get final approval.

We had to be sailing in condition green to be permitted to go to bridge.

Some of reasons tours were canceled because of conditions red or yellow are

Fog

Rough seas

Ice.

2 security guards stayed with us.

We met Martin second officer and he gave an excellent presentation.

On all our cruises we have never gambled on the last day which is today.
Many were in casino.

There were many notices about casino closing at 3 pm for remaining time on cruise.
All guest were to  redeem their tokens and slot machine  play.
We rode up from the Promenade with an elevator full of gamblers who were on the slots and they were very upset that the machines shut off and could not get their free play.

I do not know about chips from table games.

Be safe.

@Lionesss I’m sure there were people who were upset, but even I, a newbie, understood I needed to play my free play by 3:00. I thought the casino on this ship had lots of different machines and they paid nicely, but they took it all back unless you hit a jackpot. Still, I had fun. Great cruise and thanks for the blog @Lionesss. I’m sorry we didn’t meet face to face.

We did Butchart Gardens tonight.  Insanely beautiful.  Wife is the gardener of the family so she took all the pictures.  I did take this from the gardens of Butchart Cove though.

Very nice photo ! We’ll be in Victoria next month and I opted for the BC Museum and city highlights tour because we’ve never been to Victoria.   It looks like a fabulous and peaceful place to relax and enjoy the scenery.

I don’t think you can go wrong with any tour, Victoria is a wonderful city.  We’re going to come back next year for a long weekend…it’s just a ferry ride away for us. Butchart Gardens is one of those places (kinda like the Met in NY) you could spend all day…a couple hours barely does it justice.

I agree about the Met museum in NYC . We have plans to visit the Chihuly Garden and Glass  in Seattle. Are you familiar with it ? After seeing his glass flowers at the Bellagio I want to see more.

I am really feeling envious of the Florida cruisers this morning.  We weren't in any rush this morning to get off the ship even though we self-disembarked.  Home and unpacked with dirty clothes in the washer before 10:00.

Thank you @Lionesss for letting us tag along and contribute here and there to your thread.  I kept an eye out for you in the casino but always seemed to miss you.  Too bad, my wife could have used some of your luck rubbing off on her 🤣

Story time.
 Left Seattle 30 min late.

THEN!!

Unbelievable winds. Turbulence. Diverted north to Wyoming instead of flying to Denver.

Then it got ugly.
Bouncing on my seat.

Landed in Denver missed our connection.

IMG_0862.thumb.jpeg.2f5c583a91b9e03246646c94e31fc769.jpeg

Wait!!!

The plane we were on became the connection.

We had to gather all our belongings.
Exit stage left.
Go “P”

re board same seat.

Hope it gets better

 Be safe.

@Lionesss sounds like that flight was quite the adventure! Glad you made it home safely! I loved seeing and hearing about your bridge tour. Thank you very much for doing this review. I’ve enjoyed sailing along with you.

@Husky1987 and @techteach thank you for your contributions to this thread. I’ve enjoyed sailing along with both of you too.
