How Do You Resist?

Carnival is throwing offers at us right now; Elite, Free Suites with Fun Play, $2000 OBC...  How do you resist not booking under every "deal"?  At this point we have 5 cruises booked... and an RV for sale since we won't have time to use it next year!

You must gamble a lot. I'm considering upping my gambling time as I never get offers. I for sure couldnt resist a almost free cruise. Book em Dano! Why say no.

If I were getting offers like that I would cruise early and often. Once you slot into that tier of cruise line offers you're really sitting pretty.

I live in So Dakota and it costs more for the airline ticket than it does for the cruise

It isn't just spending money in the casino but that is the start.  Next is being the the targeted demographics so the casinos know you have resources.  However, buying the cruise is always the smarter financial move.

My wife and I have multiple offers from the casino, DOE, OBC and so on, we usually budget

aoround 1K each, but that is running the money thru the machines when we win, so

could be more or less, she has received many 1099"s so we do play alot.

I have tried this and it didn't seem to work for me.  I am not in their targeted demographic.

 

Although, apparently my elderly mother is. Only I can never get her to cruise even though she has amazing offers!  Even when we book her a cruise, half the time she ends up sick or hurt and can't go.

  I have a lot of casino offers (Elite's and Ultra's) and I'm having no trouble resisting these days.

 

Video slots have taken over all the ships and I hate them so much that I refuse to play them even with FREE play.

 

The removal of the casino bars is another negative for me since that was a prime hang out, especially on sea days.

 

  My cruising has always involved gambling and drinking. so unless I can find new ways to entertain myself, I'm having no problem resisting my offers these days  (LOL).

We just received some new casino offers also. We currently have 3 cruises booked and I'm trying to convince the wife to agree to another for the second half of next year. Unfortunately there is a limit to vacation time allowed. We'll see what happens though😉

Yep.. I just keep booking em..  I’ve set up payment plans and have 8 different billings a month because I booked so many cruises xD

We have good offers, and have four cruises booked.  But I am, so far, resisting temptation to book more.  While the offers are great, I am tired of Miami and starting to get bored with Carnival. We are likely going to try Virgin, but will likely fly to that cruise.  And we might give Holland another try.  We have finally aged into HAL’s demographic. Lol.
