Family Bar Crawl

On my last cruise, I made an effort to visit each bar on the ship at least once.  This was the on the Breeze on a 7 day cruise, there are 15 bars and I think I missed 2. I'm not a big drinker, so this was a challenge, but fun. I believe I missed the piano bar and the bar in the steak house. This gave me the opportunity to try different drinks I don't think I would normally try.  I got a lot of good input and suggestions from the different bartenders. The hubs drinks even less than I do so he was not much fun, but kept me company.  We are going with our son and his family on our upcoming cruise on the Magic and we are going to do our own private bar crawl then.  Is this lame or a fun idea?

sounds fun.  

 

i tend to congregate almost exclusively at Alchemy, sports bar or casino for dranks.

Lame .....did not get a invite 😒, all the kool kids havin fun , probably going to have matchin shirts on too ..

Sounds fun to me! My hubby doesn't drink but next time I'm cruising with the girls, I think we will do this as well. 

 

Don't forget the Serenity Bar! They have some of the best drinks on the ship! Are you also including the bars within the theaters/lounges? 

 

My favorite spots to get drinks are usually the Atrium, Casino Bar, and Reg Frog Rum Bar. I enjoy the drinks at Alchemy too, but they can be very slow!

Alchemy Bar on Magic is our favorite

Alchemy is our go to in the evenings. Best dirty martiini with blue cheese olive on the ship.

My vote, GREAT IDEA!  If only I could do this.  Hubby and I tend to visit the same bars over and over because we just have such a great time.

I think it is a great idea!

 

Maybe it could be a daily family meet-up event - make a plan to get together for a pre-dinner (or post dinner) drink at a different bar each night, and different family members pick the bar each time.

Honestly, I think this is something the cruise line should do. Sponsor a "bar crawl" of sorts. That would be fun. I'm sure there's some reason why 1% of troublemakers ruined it for everyone.

This sounds like fun.  I’m planning on doing this with my travel group on my July Radiance cruise.

You could take a pic of your drink and the bar that you ordered it from. Then rate your drink, taste, look, presentation etc and at the end of the cruise see which drink and bar scored the top spot 😁
