Rotterdam - largest balcony cabins

The larger sq footage usually applies to handicapped accessible cabins. That being said, deck 4 in general has larger balconies. There are a few angled balconies (basically 4 of them on each deck mid ship) that have larger balconies. Also aft facing cabins have deeper balconies. Except for the HA cabins, the veranda cabin interiors are basically the same size.

So the aft-facing are generally just regular veranda rooms but with a nice view?

Deck four Konigsdam verandah cabin  that we had had very large extended balcony, with some limited privacy, but "short drawers" inside the cabin by the closet. Not sure what caused that combination.  Deck four extended balconies are a good deal. Quite nice.

Are there any noise issues from the deck below in the Verandah cabins deck 4 mid/aft area on Rotterdam?  Those extended balconies looks great but deciding between booking there or deck 5 with cabins above and below. Thank you!

Download the PDF of the deck plan. It's much easier to see the larger balconies.

Or, use the mother of all deck plan PDFs at the link. Please note that there will be some changes as ships go into dry dock. I compiled this in May 2023. You do not need Dropbox to use the link

Just continue in your browser. If you change the zero at the end of the URL to a 1,it will download right away. You can zoom in on the PDF. There are two enormous balconies on deck 4 ,port side. There are some deep ones at the bump outs. And, the afts are bigger.

We stayed in 4192 for 3 weeks. We did not have any noise issues, either from below or above.

The only problem we had was leaving Half Moon Cay. Someone above us decided to empty their shoes, beach towels or something, because our verandah was covered in sand. We had to call the steward. It was all over the chairs too.

I'm going to post two separate videos:   One is Room 4191 on the Koningsdam, sister ship to the Rotterdam.  We had 3 rooms side by side by side, with the dividers open.  You can see just how big they are.  I'm also attaching a photo of 2 people (DH and DSIL) sitting on the deck...We regularly had all 5 of us on our deck most evenings.
