We will be on the Emerald Princess. There are quite a few bar venues. Just wondering what are your favorites? 😊

Crooners

Good Spirits

Vines

Outriggers

Pool deck bar 

Depends on the mood and type of drink .  Last 2 are daytime and Movies Under the Stars. 

Crooners and GS for after dinner usually

Vines for pre-dinner.

Skywalkers at night for dancing and drinks..

As with all Princess ships - the one that I can get a seat in as the bars are far too small for the number of passengers on board.

Are you talking about Royal Class ships - yes - for the inside bars.
Are you talking about ALL Princess ships - no - not true.

Emerald Princess

Sit at the Bar or in comfortable seating nearby? Probably Crooner's or Wheelhouse. Wheelhouse has comfortable furniture, big leather and fabric chairs, some are next to the windows.

Sit at or near the Bar for Wine? Vines

Skywalker's Lounge. Sit in comfortable seating with nice views? Don't believe there are bar stools.

 

Open deck bars have stationary backless stools that are not very comfortable.

Bar areas like Outriggers on the Horizon Terrace offer table seating with nice aft views. 

Good Sprits on deck 5 is in a noisy crowded area in the Piazza.

Club Fusion Bar basically is out of the way. Very few sit at the bar when it's open. It's really only busy when there are activities.

Casino Bar is no smoking, but the casino itself has a smoke smell.

Adagio. Some may look at a deck plan to try and show me I'm wrong; to tell me there's no Adagio Bar, but there is. That's why I like it. Few know about it or go there.

Yes, Adagio is a nice quiet lounge on deck 16 aft across from Sabatini's. Comfortable seating. It nice for daytime use for quiet reading. There are low tables, but some do play cards there. I remember that the bar opens late afternoon, but I guess with Ocean Now you could have a drink anytime.

If sunny and warm, Outriggers on deck 15. 

 

I'm on a cruise ship, so I want to see and enjoy the ocean view!

I would advise you to employ my strategy.  Get a drink at every single bar and lounge on the ship, and then draw your own conclusion!
