Thoughts on Recent Odyssey Cruise

I knew nothing about this, thanks. I'll look for it in February.

It's not well advertised, and almost anyone I talk to don't know about the trolley.

Oh, and if it rains, or looks like it's going to rain, the trolley goes directly to the trolley "home" near the dock and you have to get off.  It's an electric tram, sooooo......................

We did the two odyssey cruises prior to yours. We throroughly enjoyed our time on the ship and quantam class is probably our favourite as weve also been on ovation.

The food was fantastic and enjoyed every meal we had other than the UK night.

Prior to the two odyssey cruise we did 4 nights on liberty. On liberty windjammer opened at 6 for dinner and was always packed. It was surprisngly difficult to find a table. On odyssey it opened at 530 for dinner  and it always seemed so quiet in there. We are generally early eaters so probably why we can avoid the rushes but liberty was an anomaly for us.

I forgot to mention the outside eating verandah in the very back of the 'Jammer.  One of my favorite places to eat.

My bad:  I'm thinking of the Anthem.  I get the two ships mixed up.

Yes, I like the outdoor seating on Anthem.  I will miss that seating when Odyssey moves to Cape Liberty (will be delivering her in November  🙂).

We’re boarding the Odyssey for a 8N in two days, so I’ll be sure to check out all info above. The Anthem was my favorite ship thus far, so I’m curious how we’ll like the Odyssey. I love doing LIVE reviews, so we’ll see! I’ve never met a cruise I didn’t like, although some better than others.

Outdoor seating can be nice. However, I remember looking forward to it when we were on Serenade in the Southern Caribbean but often it was so hot and humid that we chose to eat inside. When we were in Bermuda it was perfect eating outside.

Aruba - been there at least half a dozen times and didn’t know about the trolley.  Will have to watch for it.

Odyssey is one of our favorite ships.  DH prefers it over it any other. Last time we had a jr suite and the bathrooms and storage were the best! 270 is a wonderful venue as is the sea plex with Playmakers. It’s nice we all have choices. We wouldn’t hesitate to book the Quantum class again.

Majority of Anthem's inside rooms have virtual balconies. On Odyssey only some have and they cost extra.
