curtsfan Posted March 8 #1 Share Posted March 8 Hi Everyone My family & I are sailing aboard the Mariner of the Sea on 4/18/24. My daughter who is a Florida resident needs transportation from the Cruise Port to the Brightline Train at Orlando Airport post cruise. Any suggestions for a reliable shuttle service? RCCL won’t sell us a transfer because she isn’t on a flight.

soremekun Posted March 8 #3 Share Posted March 8 If she needs to get from the cruise port to MCO, I would suggest Cruise Control Transportation ($25 + tip) or Cotrans ($30 + tip), if I remember the prices accurately. Cruise Control Transportation saved my hide big time last month.

He found us in the skycap line outside and came back yelling to us.
wolfcathorse Posted March 9 #6 Share Posted March 9 I've used Cortrans and Goport, both cheaper than Royals transfer.

They were fine as far as service was concerned.

I haven’t cruised in 4 1/2 years, and am unfamiliar with cruise control. I’ll try to check it out. Thank you.

If it is $25, and reliable, that would be much better than me renting a car.
Harrisonkid Posted March 9 #13 Share Posted March 9 Cruise control offers shared rides and individual shuttles. Shared is about 25 bucks . If your taking the personal shuttle a bit more I believe

wondersea Posted April 10 #17 Share Posted April 10 (edited) I have 5 adults and 1 child. Cruise control charges 25*6 = $150 for one way. Is there cheaper option from MCO to Port Canaveral? Edited April 10 by wondersea
Harrisonkid Posted April 10 #18 Share Posted April 10 Renting a car one way might be less expensive. Need to get a mini van ..but you'll need to secure a ride back to MCO

Is there cheaper option from MCO to Port Canaveral? For 6 people that is about as cheap as you are going to find. If you used uber you'd need two if you had even a normal amount of luggage. Harrisonkid Posted April 10 #20 Share Posted April 10 Sailing out of P C has many pluses ...but if you fly into MCO managing the transfer issue can be a big issue

Everyone will just have carry on

I'd be concerned if you were heavy packers but with just carry-ons I'd expect that to be no problem.
