My cruise was one of the ones cancelled. They said that they are going to release the new Mediterranean cruises today but I don't see them. I saw a sun princess cruise I am interested in but was holding off for the release today to see if I like the intinerary of the star princess. Do anyone know what it going on?

Transatlantic was auto rebooked for us. Not much of a date change (depart 2 days later—same return date). Naturally way too early to have booked anything else. However, the promised price reduction didn’t show up in personalizer. Sent in a ??? —- let’s see how Princess responds

I'm interested in what the answer is to that too. Looked at the new price today in the manage booking tab and it actually looks to have gone up instead of down for the TA. (Price went down but not as much as it should have as we got Premier and the new price doesn't show losing two days for Premier.)

Just checked mine and it went down significantly. Two days fewer on itinerary. Still at plus but expected that. Sanctuary noted at end of summary.

Strange pricing for the Star Princess Transatlantic Sanctuary Suite categories -  very little difference between the S9 Signature Suite and S4 Vista (formerly Penthouse) Suite. Both over £7k pp! Means the S9 is totally out of reach for us - I have a milestone birthday during this one too so very disappointing.

Definitely not changing to this TA on Star!

$5200+ from $2700+ pp CAD

D0-aft. 2 days less and departs Barcelona when I wanted to be in UK.

Celebrity is looking better even with paying extra for a refundable deposit.

Ive been looking at Celebrity as well but truth be told, I love the Medallion and app(ive never had issues with it) and I love my Enclave. Celebrity doesn't have those. So I booked the Sky and Sun, just deciding which one to keep.

I really wanted to depart  From Southampton to Port Ever(live 20 minutes from there). Sky goes to Port Canaveral and Sun leaves from Barcelona. I won't book the Star, too new at that point.

So, does anyone know what is happening between 11/5/25 and 11/10/25 when the Sun arrives in Fort Lauderdale and sails on the 10th for her 5-Day Caribbean Getaway with Grand Turk?

It might be for travel agents & VIPs which I recall happening previously when new ships arrive in the US.

Yes, there was an incentive promotion to win a 3 day cruise for Travel Agents which was scheduled for Sun Princess after arrival in Fort Lauderdale:

So assume something similar for the Star.

They did that for the Sky back in 2019. It was a 3-day inaugural. So, we booked the 3-day and then the 7-day. Then they opened up another 3-day just in front of the inaugural cruise. If they do that for the Star, I'm in. That would give me a b2b2b.

I hope you get this for Sun but wondering if less likely now all those Sanctuary Collection changes are due to kick in on the October 14th cruise?

We got the same e-mail last Friday nd I called today an was told to wait for:

"A Casino Concierge will reach out to you directly to handle your booking. "

so I guess we wait 🙂

Update:

A casino concierge never contacted us. We logged into the website and noticed the Star Princess cruise was no longer there and we each had a FCC equal to the amount we each paid in taxes, fees, etc. on the cruise. We also had a future $50pp OBC listed.

We previously had a complimentary (less taxes, fees, etc.) Mini-Suite on 10 night Greek Island sailing on Star Princess that was covered by a casino offer.

We called and spoke with someone and Princess casino and told them we wanted to rebook. They would not honor our original casino offer and would only let us book with our current offers. (which are not as good)

So we ended up switching to a 7 night Caribbean itinerary on Sun Princess in a balcony cabin and had to pay $232 more.

Se we lost 3 nights of cruising, newer ship, Med itinerary, and mini-suite and had to pay more money all because THEY cancelled our cruise.

Doesn't seem right for some reason

Thoughts?
