screwsmcernst Posted April 20 #1 Share Posted April 20 We love the Reflection because we like the Martini bar and Cellar Masters Wine Bar. I know the Edge has a Martini Bar, but is there anything like Cellar Masters? If their isn't, what is the best bar to frequent for a nice glass of wine? Rare 81Zoomie Posted April 20 #2 Share Posted April 20 We love Cellar Masters where it still exists on S Class ❤️! Just off Edge. Unfortunately there is no wine bar 😔 similar to Cellar Masters. You can pay for an upgraded wine by the glass in the dining rooms and specialty restaurants. For cocktails we gave up and ordered liquor/mixed drinks. We drank “nice” wine on shore 🍷🍷🍷🍷 where the selection and price was better.
jelayne Posted April 20 #3 Share Posted April 20 We have found the Eden bar had a decent selection of wines.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was looking all over the deck plans. 😂

The Casino Bar on Deck 4 occupies the space that on some E class ships is where Craft Social is located. We have found the wine selection at the Casino bar somewhat limited. barneyboy Posted April 21 #9 Share Posted April 21 (edited) We were disappointed with the wine selection in the bars when we sailed on the Edge last month. Luckily we had a great sommelier in the dining room who brought us wines which weren’t on the wine list. We mostly drank a Marlborough NZ Sauvignon blanc which I’ve not had on any other Celebrity ship. Edited April 21 by barneyboy Addition

Josie201 Posted April 21 #12 Share Posted April 21 I do love the Sunset Bar - but I don't like drinking wine out of plastic glasses so avoid it for my "wine needs". lol
publicpersona Posted April 21 #13 Share Posted April 21 34 minutes ago, Josie201 said: I do love the Sunset Bar - but I don't like drinking wine out of plastic glasses I can live with the plastic wine glasses, but the outside bars tend to keep their white wines in a dish pan full of ice. The idea of serving chardonnay at 36 degrees F makes me want to clutch the pearls and shriek. The outdoor bars also are more prone to do what is done sometimes in all the bars (less so in dining rooms) and interpret your order as "whatever is open and somewhat the same color as was ordered." Sadly, Celebrity doesn't cater well to wine drinkers. It is cheaper to store and manage stock of hard liquors than wine, I guess. 5
george_sf Posted April 21 #14 Share Posted April 21 On the Edge in December... Wine is hard as the menus and availability are two separate things. In general, all bars have wine including Cafe al Baccio and the Martini Bar. For best selections, the dining rooms are tops. And different restaurants have different selections. (If you are in a Suite, you can ask The Retreat to stock something you find by-the-glass at any restaurant.) The Casino Bar also had a good selection as did The Club.

39august Posted April 21 #17 Share Posted April 21 Am I correct to assume the WCB also has various wines? I remember when WCB's were new, they served only the menu drinks. Apparently, they now have some limited drinks, wine and beer.

We were on the Reflection last December, WCB had their menu drinks, and they would make most other drinks if they had the ingredients. What they really liked to do was be inventive. They would ask a few questions about what you like, and then the magic would begin. I never thought about ordering wine there, because it was so much fun trying other things. 39august Posted April 21 #19 Share Posted April 21 Thanks. I will see what they can come up with on Beyond. I love the Zacapa Old Fashioned, but now it is priced out of the premium package. I think most of the drinks there are also over $17. But I will see if they can be inventive.
