Rare babs135 Posted April 22 #1 Share Posted April 22 I understand that the arrival of Queen Anne into Southampton has been moved to the 30th April. Hopefully this is no more than a last touch up here and there and nothing major.

I'd assume this means things like furniture, bedding, etc. There was also posts on the weekend of them loading one of the sets for the upcoming shows. Meanwhile we continue happily cruising down the Moselle.
Lanky Lad Posted April 22 #5 Share Posted April 22 I was looking forward to seeing QA in Southampton. Oh well, I will have to wait until Liverpool in June.
Rare MylesS Posted April 23 #6 Share Posted April 23 Looks like she's bunkering fuel at the moment, so I'd imagine she'll be leaving in the next day or two?
cmm398 Posted April 23 #7 Share Posted April 23 As per the Venice port authority she is due to leave tomorrow, at midday on Wednesday 24 May https://venezia.ilogis.it/riepiloghi/pages/riepilogoNavi/layout_riepilogoNavi.zul;jsessionid=FCB3E3FF00197775D05D6AA3DD1B74CB
bluemarble Posted April 23 #8 Share Posted April 23 Given a 12:00 departure tomorrow, that gives QA 6 days, 3 hours, 45 minutes to make her scheduled arrival at 14:45 on 30 April (she gains one hour time zone change). Using 2805 NM sailing distance between Venice and Southampton (thanks, @sogne), she can make that schedule averaging 19 knots. 1

richard_london Posted April 25 #17 Share Posted April 25 She is currently sailing at 21.9 knots according to Marine Traffic. Nice to see making good speed, shame when in service she will be in go slow mode for fuel saving.

By all.means go flat out and arrive 2am and pay more for greater fuel consumption.
Rare MylesS Posted April 27 #19 Share Posted April 27 Looking at the tracker, she's scheduled to stop off in Gibraltar this evening. Possibly for more fuel and supplies? 1
Rare ClipperinSFO Posted April 27 #20 Share Posted April 27 @MylesS, yes, I just noticed the GIB stop for QA on Marine Traffic. Was hoping someone on here would have insight into the reason. This was not planned afaik.
bluemarble Posted April 28 #21 Share Posted April 28 Here's my first webcam capture of Queen Anne. Not particularly impressive given that it's nighttime but I'll have to make do. This is a view of Queen Anne arriving at Gibraltar a short time ago as seen on the "Webcam Gibraltar Cable Car, Top of the Rock Live Stream". 6
