Pear Carr Posted May 2 #26 Share Posted May 2 I am getting holiday camp vibes from the Queens Room - basic and bland for easy maintenance! Also concerned about the wardrobe space - definitely not enough room to accommodate a two week cruise let alone a world voyage!

Even when you remove them you're stuck with the rings taking up space. With all the trend towards thin hangers you would think they would get the message. Other then that, it looks very nice. We have one on the 2025 world cruise. I hope someone does a tour of the club balcony dining room. Stops the hangers being stolen.

I agree the hangars are vexing.

DukeBeetle24 Posted May 2 #30 Share Posted May 2 It does rather look like not all the furniture is there - The Queens Room and The Britannia Restaurant look like there's these spaces where other chairs / tables should be. As for the style, it's personal preference and difficult to judge without seeing in person, personally - can't wait to see her and explore the ship! Also hopeful that "finishing touches" are still to be made to a lot of spaces ahead of the maiden tomorrow (for those lucky to be on her!)

It's not as dark as I thought it might be and I particularly like the grey tones in the bathroom. The shower has to be a step up from the other Cunard ships. All in all, not bad Cunard! 🙂 2

Lovely bathroom. In fact, I think it is all lovely…except the black wood, but that might look better on a sunny day.

Very nice - almost tempted to bid on a P1>Q5/Q6 upgrade... £640pp min though.... yes a Q5. Corner ones are Q3 Edited May 2 by buchanan101

Rare rakkor Posted May 2 #37 Share Posted May 2 Has anyone seen the PG bathrooms yet - are they still shower over bath ? If so I'm envious of the Britannia guests being able to get their hair wet - PG showers on QE/QV are chest height for me.

We have that suite in August. Different layout to what I was expecting. See it’s a central tv divider not fully open plan. Like the look. Doesn’t look like a whirlpool bath? Rare Windsurfboy Posted May 2 #40 Share Posted May 2 (edited) Two observations The Q5s look very similar to all suite cabins in other new ships. Pity couldnt see shower as I like a large walkin, with space to get out of way till it warms up. Looks smallish in the cabin plan. Why aren't videos for all cabins (and other areas) or better really good 3D tours available on Cunard Website Edited May 2 by Windsurfboy

They'll be pretty much same size as BCs as it's just the cabin is deeper, but the same width and the bathroom is by the door The bathroom does seems a touch bigger without the sloped corner seen in the videos where the loo sits in the BCs. Assuming the plans from months ago are still accurate Edited May 2 by buchanan101 plans added

I'd slightly miss my rainfall shower... but I guess they want to put a slight limit on water consumption if possible - and there may not be enough headroom anyway

With that divider, could it be it's a Q4/penthouse? The Q5 had a more open arrangement in a schematic I've seen. Nope, I see the suite number is at the stern, as stated. So it is a Q5. Rare RJChatsworth Posted May 2 #47 Share Posted May 2 I am a bit disappointed so far, not with QA, but what I guess last evening was a ship largely full of sales people on freebies who’d I’d hoped would want to share what they enjoyed, particularly if sales agents. We have seen Balcony Club but what about OG and QG too. And not just the sleeping area but bathrooms too! I’m sure many want to know about walk-in showers, like I do. And more photos please of public areas and some narrative atmosphere, cosiness, meal choice and quality, and quality of fittings and fixtures? Hopefully nothing Spartan about the ship! Perhaps I’m asking too much!
