I'm really worry about my flight

Why not? Just completely at random, I've priced an itinerary on Iberia's website for ELP (El Paso) to DFW on IB4361, connecting to IB4861 from DFW to AMS.

Aren't those the codeshare flight numbers, not Iberia metal?

Not sure if I would trust an alliance member who has no actual part in the flight.

Why?  Do you really think BA or IB is going to not honor AA issued tickets?

It's a matter of customer service for a flight your employer doesn't own.

I have never had an issue in this regard.  For me, AA will answer my call much faster than other OW airlines as they recognize my status.  In this respect I get better customer service.

Yep, IB4361 is actually AA1365 and IB4861 is AA220. The only true Iberia flights from DFW are to Madrid, all the other destinations are codeshares on other OneWorld airlines.

Yes, both flights ops AA.

But commercially, these are Iberia flights that can be bought from iberia.com - and unless the customer happens to read the small print, they might not notice until much later in the day that the aircraft is operated by American. AIUI, the DFW-AMS flight could legally be operated by an Iberia aircraft if the airlines wanted to do this, but for the usual hub reasons this is operated under the conventional arrangement.

I think this example and the OP's trip are almost certainly a Joint Business flight, so AA and Iberia (and the other JBA members) pool revenues and share costs too.

So there's every reason for Iberia to be (and to appear to be) an option for the OP's itinerary.

Eh, I've done it many times over the years as a OneWorld frequent flier. I don't make a habit of it, but I do it at least once or twice a year and have never had a problem. Most recent example was about four months ago when I flew Finnair HEL-SIN with a Qantas flight number because it was significantly cheaper in J at the time I booked. Worked like a charm.

Iberia wouldn't be on an itinerary flying to AMS with a stop in DFW.

The ELP-DFW flight is on AA, and I am guessing that's what CruiserBruce meant; the entire itinerary would not be on Iberia.

The DFW to AMS flight wouldn't be on Iberia either.
