Thought I’d start a new thread.

We’re ensconced in our hotel, ready to embark Annie tomorrow morning/ lunchtime. We have an early check in so hopefully will be onboard in time for a spot of lunch and a visit to the library, not necessarily in that order.

I get the impression there will be a fewCC members onboard, maybe a couple new to the ship so let’s hear your thoughts.

We’re going to be interested to see the difference between our sort of shakedowner  in May and now, a couple of months later, see how she has settled down.🙂

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the further changes as Anne ‘beds in’.

The continuing inaugural season Live threads have been much appreciated as I move closer to my own embarkation in… ten threads time. I think. Thank you to all reporting from the front line. 😂

We are also in Southampton ready to board tomorrow and happy to contribute our first impressions/experience on Queen Anne. We are optimistic based on reviews so far and the fact that Myles keeps extending his stay!

This should be an interesting Thread  😉

Our Annie does seem to have the ability to provoke so there might be  some contrasting thoughts or we might all be in agreement. It will be interesting.

Stay tuned. 🙂

My Partner (being retired) is more excited re the new ship & Iceland than me.

Im more excited about 2 weeks off work and the new ship and destination is just a bonus.😉

Indeed, it will be interesting to see the different thoughts, having sailed previously yours will have more relevance with regards to the initial teething problems, which have hopefully been ironed out, judging by other reports they seem to have been resolved.

Have a lovely cruise.

Thank you. A lovely post. Don’t expect photos of food or too much of  a travelogue as that’s not my style.I’ll  leave that to others as there seem to be plenty of us going to be onboard. I’m more about comments on the cruise and the ship etc. 🙂

We went to those ports in Iceland on Queen Elizabeth in 2019 and enjoyed it a lot more than I expected!

Bon Voyage all, I look forward to hearing all the opinions on the ship and the itinerary.

Welcome aboard! A lot of CC members on this voyage it seems, super exciting!

My plan of laundry was foiled today as an early wake up and 10 laps resulted in a late morning nap…

Ship is starting to get busy now, so I’ve checked into the muster station with the new cruise cards which we picked up earlier.

Very excited for this cruise, I’ve never been to Iceland before. Hopefully we’ll be able to grab some tours, as we couldn’t book many online due to very late booking.

Looking forward to your thoughts on how the ship has settled in as well @Victoria2

Golden Lion renamed temporarily to Three Golden Lions for today’s match, which is being shown in every venue that has a screen.

1840 will be my go to as it has been for the other matches and Formula 1. James and Red are absolutely fantastic in there, I cannot praise them enough.

Turns out I’ve hated the ship all along and I just wanted to watch all the England games in a casino bar 😉

I'm on board tomorrow too. First time with Cunard after multiple cruises with P&O. Really looking forward to it.

Your impressions would be very interesting to read!
