disgirl Posted August 8 #1 Share Posted August 8 Sorry for this stupid question - I have cruise on Celebrity where one room is bed/couch/balcony the room beside is couch/bed/balcony. Is this the same on Koningsdam or is it always the same layou
Rare *Miss G* Posted August 8 #2 Share Posted August 8 Assuming you are not including any of the suites, regular verandahs all have the couch next to the balcony and the bed beside that. So: bed/couch/balcony.
oakridger Posted August 8 #3 Share Posted August 8 @disgirl Have a look at Halfacts.com to see pictures of individual cabins or types of cabins. Great resource! Pinnacle Class | HAL Cruiser Information (halfacts.com) ~Nancy

Is this the same on Koningsdam or is it always the same layou Insides can vary. I haven't seen any major difference between standard balconies (not suites), or ocean view. There are a couple of insides near the mid-ship elevators where the couch isn't big enough to pull out. I'm hoping the couch set up as a bed will be more comfortable than the pull outs have been. For the balconies - they are bed, couch, balcony. The vista suites are couch, bed, balcony. Hope that helps.

HAL standard balconies are mostly bath-bed-couch, but they do alternate forward/aft facing beds (does that make sense?) It's clear on the deck plans by looking at the door location. We have had them in signature suites and they were much more comfortable than a pull out bed.
crystalspin Posted August 9 #8 Share Posted August 9 20 hours ago, disgirl said: THANKS! HalFacts is great, but for whatever reason, there are a number of 'galleries' (entries) that are assigned wrong categories, specifically Vista Suites on deck 4 on the K'dam that are labelled "V" verandahs. If the bed is by the balcony, it is a Vista Suite!
