Who's Interested in Cruising on Mariner when it Repos to LA

Let them WORK for it....it's not hard work to go on a cruise after all. Or if they are tall like me, they can peek over the top of the occluded glass and get a glimpse of the fun.

Oh, the price of concierge service...or they can just ask Julian to let them in...can't hurt... YIKES! Did I say that? I didn't mean it. That was someone else. :eek: Julian would tell them no in his own endearing way anyway. :)

True there are other ships that do this, it just unique because its a voyager class repo to los angeles and i dont think you will see another voyager class ship doing it or may never have that option again. So it would be a unique cruise in are signatures. I would love to do the full repo.

Never thought of it that way......unique to the class of ship. Guess my brain went missing!!

I am hoping that we shall also be able to do the full repo.

I have a feeling we're(me and DH) will just have to settle for being on the last cruise outta PC..........we were on the first(for the christening of the ship)........

y'all are so entertaining at your guessing. I have a huge feeling that we will not be able to do any of the legs--the timing is really bad for us. I was hoping it would be later in Feb, but it doesn't cost to wonder, does it?

If you think I want to stay in this apartment any longer than I have to, wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rolleyes: That money is going to buy something. I can't wait to sail the Mariner after my Empress cruise. ;) I can drive there in about 5 hours or less.

Yes, these will be the two little things that cause the list to suddenly dwindle. So many of us already have booked cruises in 2009, not that we can't change our plans.

I wouldn't want to do such a long cruise in anything less than a JS and that could end up pricey, too.

Would pricing for the Mexican Riviera help you all gauge the pricing for the Repo at all?

I only got two prices when I called.... but for the Mexican Riviera June 21 (group cruise week) - D1's are going for $1499 pp and E1's are going for $1409 pp (plus taxes on both). 3/4 person rate is $799 each.

I know the repo won't be the same, but it might help with what they think the standard itinerary is worth.

BTW - we did book a hump cabin (only 4 triples on the hump!) so we are VERY excited!

Did I mention that it is only 5:40am? Ughhhh!

Thanks Tina for the info.............with so many more sea days on a repo cruise it's really hard to judge what the cost will be.

Gosh....are you all excited out on the west coast????:D

I know what you mean... I am sure some will think it is too expensive compared to what Mariner was selling for in the Caribbean - but you can't really compare the two. Just thought it might help a little. I was happy with the price so all is good.

We are VERY excited.... This really is a big deal. :D

It would be so nice if, when the Mariner pulls into LA, that she has a good support from the folks in California.

Yeah, but 4:00AM is actually 7:00 EST..........so what's the problem?;) And I am sure there will be many from the right coast sailing the repo cruise/s.
