She didn't know anything about changes but said this week the concierge is Ana. Ana said that is not her normal job but my daughter doesn't know how long she will be there. DD did say she was great and really helpful and nice.

We had Ana as our concierge on our cruise last November and she usually works in guest relations. She is tremendous. I would book another cruise on the Adventure of the Seas just because of her. She makes everyone feel welcome.

Regarding the newly created CL on the Legend....is that a room with a view??

If floor to ceiling windows, the length of the room is a view, yup!!! :rolleyes: :rolleyes: It's in what used to be the card room, fabulous views...on Deck 7 mid-ship. DEEP leather chairs and sofas. In May it was only wine and beer, cold hors d'oeuvres. Don't know if that part has changed or not. Diego IS wonderful!!!;) ;) ;)

Andrea Levitt replaced Mpho as the Concierge on Jewel sometime after he was promoted to Guest Relations Manager. Andrea was on the Jewel when we sailed in late January.

 

She is very efficient and hard-working. I would say she is Type A when it comes to her work. For instance, she would probably insist on getting your drink for you instead of letting you do it yourself.

 

I would also say she is generally a "by the book" kind of person.

Andrea became Concierge on Jewel late June, early July of last year. I'm not sure how long she has been aboard in other jobs though. I liked her.

Thank you so much for that information. We went from Jewel to Liberty and really missed the windows. Originally we had two balconies on our 08 Med. Legend cruise but once we found out that there was a CL we put DD in an interior across the hall and booked ourselves a GS (by the way, our teenage DD is thrilled to be in that interior room where she can sleep away the sea days) so it's a win win all the way around.

And now a room with a view...well I'm giddy with delight!!!:) :D ;)

Andrea from the Jewel started out in the dining room as an assistant waiter, she then went to the Purser's desk and then became the Concierge. I'll be sailing with her again in a few weeks.

On the Navigator transatlantic this past April the concierge was Carlos. I cannot recall his last name. He also alternates with Julian on Enchantment.

He was a nice guy. Very hard working. Although many of the women in the lounge felt he favored the men in terms of overall service. :)

We will be on Liberty in April and will be in a JS so can only use the Diamond lounge this time. Any idea who the concierge is in the Diamond lounge? Also, we had Diego on Brilliance in Jan of this yr and he is BY Far, our favorite ever! So cute, great personality and absolutely wonderfully helpful. Wish he was on Liberty, we will miss him, greatly!
