See if anyone want to own up to giving Cheeks (the monkey's name) expensive tastes.......

I'm the guilty one with Cheeks in the photo... but I didn't bring him on QE2!

I remember him enjoying a glass of whiskey in another bar...

It was lovely to meet you all on this most remarkable trip, your pics and vids are fantastic. I thought everyone was a great sport with Cheeks, who is currently in rehab and looking forward to his next voyage ;)

"Si Monumentum Requiris, Circumspice"

Ah Kyle, we've spoken of this before, my discovery of the tomb, and engraving a brass plaque and putting it on the south wall of the garage ... now to see your wonderful menus and record of the trip is to weep. I feel I was there after all. Little wonder you are just one of the best!

Up above, another post says you are a star. No you're not ... you are THE STAR of this board! My thanks to you, friend.

:) Ed

Transat John - thanks for the photos. Amazing framing on several. And your cabin photos are better than mine, for sure. Wasn't there a request somewhere to put names with the rooms? Anyone still working on that? Can it already be one month since I left Atlanta for London? My office is full of 8 x 10 color copies I have printed of so many of these shared pictures!

Hi Debbie

If you would like higher quality versions of one or two of the pictures drop me a line on "reviewlounge at yahoo dot com". I will get higher resolution version on to you that will print better at 8 x 10. (You can have them for personal use but can't sell them of course).

I've kept peoples names off their cabins on purpose, it is a common sense security thing. People can say themselves with no issue to me.

Just a thought.... Have I missed something?

As she left the Clyde, QE2 was supposed to do the Arran Mile.

Did she do it?

If so, do we know what speed she achieved?

David

Probably touched 15 knots.

They were never going to push the machinery to the limit, not a smart thing to do. It was just another one of those on board stories that went around.

Just like Prince Harry was going to be in Liverpool.

Hello Cheeks.

It was fun to meet you those couple of times. Hope you have recovered well.

I wonder if I could have a picture of yourself with your parents that I can put on my webpage with the others?
