Just got back from our cruise on Silhouette and Lisa was the CD. Did not mention leaving for another ship....

She is absolutely the best cruise director I have ever encountered. By far.

 

Wish she'd transfer to Summit for our May cruise...... :)

 

Thanks so much. We love Lisa. Sorry she is not on the Solstice again.:(

Just off the Solstice.

 

CC Hostess was Melissa. (Sorry, I don't recall her last name.)

 

She said that Donette would be the initial Hostess on the Reflection.

 

Captain Gary said he will be going to the Reflection also.

He was grrrrreat!

I have now heard three different Master's names for Reflection.

Does Donette have a last name? I seem to have a Donette Fletcher on Silhouette and wonder if it is the same?

 

Has anyone ever sailed with Justin Nichols who will soon be CD on Millennium?

Hi Arno:) Donette is quite striking...tall, with dark chocolate complexion

and I believe she is one of your countrymates as well.

Any one know where CC Hostess Ti-ann from Equinox is these days ? She was wonderful and one of our favorites. I know that she said she was due for a break because she had covered for other people over vacations. Hope we see her again on one of the next sailings...

Manetas will be Captain starting March 17th. I'll be onboard from March 10th to the 24th and I'll post whose on.

Thank you Orator. I'm particularly interested if Mike Gibbons will be the CD for the April 14th sailing, and who will be the Hotel Director & CC Host/ess. We've sailed with Captain Manetas previously. From what I recall, he's very personable. I look forward to seeing him again.

I am surprised with all the threads on this forum regarding menus and drinks that there isn't more mention of the Food and Beverage Managers. I know last year on Millenium Michael Bramlett, was quite personable and an extremely visible presence on board. When we had a problem in the main dining room, he was very quick to fix it for us and ensured we were happy for the remainder of the voyage. Hopefully I won't have any such issues on my upcoming Eclipse cruise, but if I do, I hope the F&B Manager is as equally approachable and efficient.

Miss you on the boards. Wish you would go back to posting more often again. You always had something nice to say, which cannot be said of everyone. :rolleyes:

Doing Eclipse more for the price than the ship. Would rather be doing the Connie, but by the time I saw the price reduction, I had already made final payment on Eclipse. Hubby is ok for now, just taking it slower.

Mellissa Snow is the Capt's Club Hostess on the Solstice at the moment. Know she will still be on her for the upcoming TA. She is our favorite!

 

Melissa said she will be on the Solstice at least until it reaches Australia.

In three weeks the Captain Apostolos Bouzakis will be back from vacation, so he will be Captain, I am sailing April 6, 2012 and he will be Captain at that time.......

That is what I have been told by the Hotel Manager, when I e-mail the ship........
