Hi! I am looking for a Flair Bartender from Bali who we spent time with on the Millennium when it sailed out of Miami. He went to the Reflection when she was first launched. We got on board just after he went home last December. He was due back on the Reflection in March 2013.

 

We have friends on the Reflection and he is not there now, but one of the Bartenders said they think he is on the Millennium.

 

Is anyone going on the Millie? We would love to know if he is there and will be on this summer. We may just have to do an Alaska trip to catch up with him again.

 

I have a photo of him with the "Magic Sauce" Demitrie's.

Imadi was on the Infinity when we did the Panama Canal in April 2015. He is now on the Silhouette doing the 7-Day Western Caribbean stints and we'll be seeing him this March.

We will be on the Silhouette the middle of March. Will Paul Baya still be onboard as cruise director? Who is the Captain's Club host/hostess?

Captain Leo was our Captain on the 1/22 Equinox sailing. Very funny guy.

 

We were also on that cruise and agree. He told us he is going on vacation starting in mid-February. Not sure who will be the new captain. We were told Captain Panos is no longer with the company.

Do officers and staff leave around a transatlantic? Just wondering about Silhouette in April.

 

 

The rotation dates have nothing to do with ships repositioning. Contracts start and end at total different dates and the durations of time on bord also varied depending on function and hierarchy level.

 

The Captain of Silhouette should change sometimes in March I believe.

 

Does anyone know if Captain Demetrios Kafetzis comes back?

I believe the captains are generally on a 2 year contract... (3 month on/off) I also believe Captain D has only been on the silhouette about a year so I'm guessing it will be him when the changes happen!

 

Personally I rate him as the best captain on the open seas! [emoji4]

I sailed on the Silhouette TA November 2013 and April 2015 and Captain Demetrios Kafetzis

was the captain on both cruises.

That would fit... I believe he left the silhouette shortly after the fall TA in 2013 and went on the summit I think[emoji848] he then rejoined the silhouette early 2015,

 

He was our captain on our first cruise (fall TA 2012) so I'm guessing after your TA in 2013 he was coming to the end of his contract!

As long as he stays off Eclipse or Solstice thats fine by me........

 

Guess we're all different. IMHO he is one of the best CDs. Full of energy and a great sense of humor. He does very special things with children and interacts with guests.

Anyone know of any changes to the Summit staff that will occur after the April drydock?

 

I believe Ashley W. has been on since the end of August and seems like it's time for her to go on vacation. Also know that Capt Kate returns about that time too.
