Hi,

 

I thought Esperanza was a Activity Staff member? Has she been promoted to cruise director now? If so does anyone know when?

Esperanza was the Cruise Director when we sailed the Constellation in December 2012. I wonder where she is now?

Hi Ben,

 

CC Hosts/hostesses oversee all the Captains Club events on board and are also a resource to all Captains Club members.

 

They are usually very personable and helpful.

 

 

Have never met a Host except at a Captain's table one time. I thought she was a hostess because he was aboard without wife. Didn't get her name. I thought they were future booking agents on the ship.

 

We've taken over 30 cruises. I've been clue less. Thank you.

I just received very sad news about one of the premier Celebrity Chefs.

 

Olivier Trividic has passed away according to posts on his Facebook page.

 

Our condolences to all our Celebrity friends who have had the good fortune to work with him.

In February last year Olivier treated us to a feast at the Chef's Table on Constellation. This is a very sad day on board many Celebrity ships.

The lovely Jonnette Sarmentio is on her way back to Century after maternity leave to be the CC hostess. How hard leaving her two daughters at home. Her husbands return contract is in the casino on Constellation so one of them hopes to move soon, most likely it will be Nelson

I am none the wiser but i do recalll a Sue on Equinox who I think was the HD- she was very good.

 

The Sue who is HD is Sue Richardson who is heading for Solstice I believe.

The news of Jonnette confirms what I heard about Marlene leaving Century this next week - same rumour mill also says Carlos Avalon [pianist] leaves August 25th.... and Cristian {Guest Relations} has already left. No idea of replacements yet. Will post when/if I know more.

"Last week (20/7 to 2/8) we had Captain Pannagiotis, Ian Creswell as cruise director, Perry Grant, Kyle Thommasson (who was amazing!!) and Ray Brown Jnr (Jazz band)."

 

Captain is: Panagiotis Skylogiannis

CD Ian was replaced by Sue Denning at turnover

Perry Grant went on holidays

 

Is there still no Acapella group on Eclipse?

And what is Kyle's specialty?

Going on Summit in three weeks:D! Who are the officers, please? Especially the cc hostess...

 

Mellissa Snow will take over from Ti-Anne on the next sailing.

 

Someone on board Summit right now might upgrade the officers on board when she returns next week.

Would appreciate an update on the entertainment as well. We will be on the Summit in September and would love to know if they have the strings, and if so their name. We had a wonderful trio on the Infinity in May.

Just back from Infinity and we had the following:

Master: Michael Sympouras

Hotel Director: Mark Zeller

Cruise Director: James Cox

Food & Beverage Manager: John-Paul Lamb

Executive Chef: Malcolm Scott-Avis

Guest Relations Manager: Bosco Pires

 

Not sure re the rest but Fiore Strings were the string threesome.

Hope someone can update the chart.

Earlier this afternoon there were 91 pages on this thread lol. There was an amended list of officers in board and a couple iof other posts .

 

I've been asked to reformat my graphic because it messes up the boards.

Same format for years but today it's a problem????
