Actually,I like both "Awesome Amsterdam Adventurers" and "Awesome Alaskan Adventurers".

 

I do prefer ship names in there, but I have a coat from another cruise on the Amsterdam to Alaska and someone said they didn't know there was an Amsterdam, Alaska. :) People seem to think of the city immediately.

 

So maybe "Alaskan" would be better.

Okay so on the HAL website it is ms Amsterdam. So we could use that or HAL Amsterdam....

Even though that wasn't my 1st choice of the photos you took, this one really does a good job of highlighting the text on the dark blue water.

 

The text in the other picture can be changed. When I tried white it disappeared but there are lots of others to try.....

Now comes the inevitable question, is a verandah cabin worth paying nearly double that for a regular outside window/porthole view:confused:

I really don't think it is worth it. Not for double the price. It will be hard enough for me to pay for an outside.

 

This ship has a fantastic wraparound promenade to enjoy the sights from. So I recommend one on that deck. Another good choice is the larger cabins one deck down by the stairs so if you see a whale through your window , you can get up fast enough to the promenade to see more!

(This actually happenned to me on the similar Volendam!....and I got a picture of him)
