Referral Coupon Thread- This is the only one!

So is 6-9 months the proper time frame to ask for a coupon? Also, does the donor need to be on the same cruise?

Hi Roy, the newbie has to sail at the latest on the same cruise but usually it is before. You should send the coupon to SB around the final payment date I believe.

I meant to add, it is really worth it for anyone new. The OBC for us meant we could use the internet as much as we needed, we made some very urgent calls home (sadly, a bereavement whilst we were away) plus it paid for our Visas. We only used half of it as well! :)

We have not sailed on Seabourn since 2009, but have just booked a cruise for October 2016. I have a $400 referral coupon that was sent to us after our first cruise. Hoping that someone can better explain this to me.

 

1. It does not appear to have an expiration date and so I assume it is still valid, do you think that is correct?

 

2. When using the referral for a "newbie", does that party have to be on the same sailing as our booked sailing?

 

3. When do you take care of this, not until after final payment?

 

4. Do I mail in the coupon with all of my information and all the "newbie" information to Seabourn?

If you send me your cruise details including your name, date of cruise, booking number, your address and email address I will prganise to send the coupon to Seabourn in your behalf. It's easy! Just email a member who has a coupon with your name, address booking number and date of sailing and they will fill out their coupon and send it to Seabourn. You both will get $400 of onboard credit to spend. I can take care of it today. prills(at)aol(dot)com It takes about 2 weeks to hear back from Seabourn.

Replace the at with @ and the dot with .

 

Otherwise I am sure you will have a great cruise we just love Seabourn.

 

You asked for an explanation for the Referal Credit, well if someone has sailed with Seabourn you get a referral credit slip and you can give these out to people that have never cruised with Seabourn. When the voucher is sent to Seabourn they will credit your account with 400 dollars On board credit and this can be used for things like the spa or soending in the shops. The referer also gets 400 dollars for their next cruise, so it is a Win Win situation.

 

Please feel free to send me an email and I will fill in all the details for you and send the slip off to Seabourn Club in Southampton.
