Freedom of the Seas 6/14-6/21-Best Family Vacation on Earth!

Recommended Posts

Thanks, Robyn! Hope you have a great time on her!

One of these days we'll have to venture on AOS.........before she leaves Puerto Rico!;)

Do try and sail the AOS before she leaves San Juan - she is a great ship with an outstanding itinerary :D

If your family could only do one cruise, which would they choose...FOS or Disney Magic? Our kids are 10, 11, 14 and love Disney, but mom needs a relaxing vacation...we've never cruised and this may be our only chance...what do you think??

Thank you for sharing your great pictures with us all. Your children are adorable, and looked like they were having a ball. So glad, you had a wonderful time. I have also sailed the Freedom, and had Richard Spacey, as a cruise director, and he is so funny. ;)

Our first cruise was Disney Magic, and we all loved it. My children were 9, 13, and 18. They all loved it, but each loved the Freedom of the Seas much better. They even liked the kids club much better on the Freedom. For us parents, it is 100% Freedom. We love the late night activities options. It seemed that Disney pretty much died down between 9 and 10 pm. It was still a wonderful cruise, but for the price and comparison, I feel that FOS wins.

Tara,

Having done the Disney Magic 3 times, and then 2 Royal Caribbean Cruises after, I think you kids will really appreciate going on the Freedom.

My kids are 11 and 13, and although we love Disney (we own Disney Vacation Club since 1997), we just absolutely LOVE the Freedom. And yours will too. Also, Disney is so much more expensive!

You can get a Junior Suite for less than a regular balcony room on Disney.

Now, I am not knocking Disney, we really loved those cruises, but the kids were younger and into it. If your teens are like my daughter, they will love the rock climbing wall, the iceskating, the kid's clubs.

You'll love the HUGE jacuzzis on each side of the ship in the adult only section. The casino (which Disney does not have) and the enormous promenade with all the wonderful bars, stores, shopping and PIZZA.

My kids loved the pizza, and being able to get a slice whenever they wanted!

Ok, I am psyched for our trip in August!

Thanks to all of you for the compliments!

We were never into cruise director's with the exception of Graham Seymour-who is still our very favorite! He has some competition with Richard!!!;):D:)
