  1. I dont understand why they dont have a drop off box at checkout on the last day, then Princess can sort out their disposal.
  2. Even if you were able to use the retreat would it be worthwhile, with a flight at 5:00pm your transfer to the airport is likely to be about 2:00pm
  3. Do you know for certain this was food poisoning, or could it have been Norovirus or something similar. If the former then presumably only other passengers eating the same food would have been affected, if the latter then many other passengers could have been affected.
  4. It can also be down to choice, many is the time I have looked at someone else's main course and wished I had made the same choice.
  5. Does your price comparison include the cost of flights?
  6. Never had any problems with the irons staining anything, in fact the purity of the desalinated water is much higher than anything you will find coming out of a tap at home.
  7. P&O is only a tiny part of the Carnival portfolio, and will have little impact on the share price.
  8. I think you might find it was P&O ferries that received govt help during covid, not the cruise line.
  9. The sun is shining on Huddersfield the temp is 19 deg, and the wind has dropped to a gentle breeze..
  10. Is a plastic Giraffe more upmarket or down market, to entertainment crew dressed up as Wallace and Gromit?
  11. I always USE a well known and respected on-line TA, so the frequently reported poor customer service of the shoreside P&O is not a problem. Fortunately, although not top class, the on board service is much better, not quite as in your face as RCI, but still normally quite acceptable.
  12. We are grateful that we did our fly cruising when we were younger and more active, along with some very enjoyable Saga long haul holidays. So that now we are older, and less mobile, Southampton sailings on larger ships with more facilities are perfectly acceptable, despite the limited warn weather ports, and even though P&O standards have declined, they still offer a good value holiday, and year round sailings.
  13. If you are in a suite then you should be able to take a scooter, P&O states to take an electric scooter you need to book either an accessible cabin or a suite.
  14. What extra cost did you have to pay, other than the normal premium that a midship location commands over forward or aft, and you are correct a similar premium would also apply to the saver fare, however saver fares are not able to select actual cabins.
  15. It's nor an isolated soapbox rant Avril, it is what many northern townsfolk think was the despoiling of the the Victorian heritage of our town centres that happened during the 60s. Huddersfield lost a wonderful old market hall and many historic council offices, all to be replaced with drab concrete structures that are now well beyond their sell by date.
  16. But you did receive the benefit of a midships cabin which probably would not have been the case if you had booked a saver fare.
  17. That sounds fiendishly clever if it works on the new starlink system.
  18. I tend to think you mistake facts for your idea of what is happening in the real world. Unfortunately your grasp of reality tends to differ from that of quite a few other posters on here.
  19. Maybe they could have a QR code on your theatre reservation on the app to present to one of several QR readers at the theatre entrances, with or without a seat number entrance?
  20. Are you suggesting that Graham is our CC influencer? 😄
  21. If you use a TA to book, they can request a specific cabin, we give out TA a short list of suitable cabins and our agent always gets our first choice
  22. P&O have rarely been known for listening to customer feedback, unless it matched what they wanted, so best not to get your hope's up for any beneficial changes to the app.
