Bidding is personal and very subjective- it all depends on what value you place on the cabin you want and understand that there’s no fool proof way or trick to winning- oh, your chances of winning are very dependent on inventory which changes all the time. Also, don’t get sucked in by all the marketing- check self upgrade prices before bidding.

I don’t know what kind of math RCI does with MDR seats/assignments but no, there are not enough seats to assign everyone to the MDR in just two seatings. Q class was also designed with Dynamic Dining in mind where they counted on turning over the tables three times per night (which kinda what happens with traditional +MTD).

Some ships don't - regular Q class MDR has somewhere between 1600-1800 (400-450 per venue) seats (for a ship around 4200 at 100% capacity) - Spectrum/Odyssey is closer to 2000.

That probably depends on the capacity of the sailing, MTD reservation time, number of staff, etc, but it should, some. It also depends on what you call long lines - having them stretch to the elevators on the first night is sorta the norm, especially on the non-reservation side (there are two separate lines for MTD - with and without reservations).

MTD is usually in the two venues on deck 4, while traditional is in the two venues on deck 3.

Sorta, instead trying to find the issue, they noted the account to no longer have a drink limit. The erroneous charges stopped after two days.

Maybe a very long time when Voom first came out that may have been true - for the past several years, a multi device package usually has only a single login.

If testing positive and not being able to fly home is a concern, don't book any cruises outside of the US. The policy (what RCI will do for you) is not only changing all the time but may vary by port. Don't count on RCI paying for any of your quarantine/isolation.

I don't believe RCI provides free testing in Copenhagen or elsewhere. They used to provide it on the ship, but that was discontinued. @CatLadyFemme just boarded in Copenhagen and might have updated info.

You have plenty of ways to chill without subsidizing RCI's profit - lots of free nice loungers and umbrellas.

Again, for the folks who know about the Bermuda TA, the cost may be an important thing - some could have very well assumed that was the "change" meant in the title. When they realized it wasn't, most probably just moved along. A title like "No more uploading of docs for the Bermuda TA" would have been much more obvious (and may have garnered much less interest). No one is attacking you here, it is useful info, just not the "change" some were looking forward to.

Being able to bid has little to do with being 30 days out - that error message is posted for a variety of reasons, but unlikely due to being more than 30 days out. You may never get an invitation to bid but may still be able do so. Check with others on your sailing (via Roll Call thread or other method) if they are able to bid.

Most folks get this in their in cabin welcome letter: While anything is possible, don't be surprised if the ship enforces their own rules.
