Just woke for our 4 am flight …cancelled no flights going to LaX today. lesson to self fly in the day before. Emergency Transit as we booked EZ air said we are 2 of many not making it to the ship.

You can buy on ship , however my last trip on Discovery I found out you had to sign up for a time slot on Sea days or there were no beds ...I paid before I got on ship . Tried to get my money back but that didn,t happen. I think they can sell more passes doing this , people were overstaying their time slot and that was causing problems . On that trip I went around 7.30pm and always found a spot ,that does not work for everyone though. Having always enjoyed the area on previous Royal Class Sailings I have never purchased this again .Maybe it is different on other ships.

Certainly bigger than on Lido , know clue about rest of ship.

We board this Saturday , we booked Sun deck as nice big balconies ...International Cafe was a nightmare last October at 75% capacity . Internet did not exist I am impressed you can post here .

Go for it , there is so much help out there for you , request wheelchairs in airports. I am from UK originally and notice when I visit there is far more help for those of us with mobility challenges. enjoy yourself.

I am on Discovery Saturday for 2 weeks ,will try to post here .Last time on Discovery the Internet was just terrible, couldn't even check in for our flight home.

I keep getting E Mails from Princess that I have not filled in necessary details for my cruise this coming Saturday ....I have made 7 phone calls and it is still not on Medallion App. Tried to reinstall App and still no cruise shows.

I hope they bring it back , no sign of it on our Christmas cruise.

We stayed in one for Mexican Rivera ,loved it covered bigger Balcony ,no noise issues.

$299 is price shown for Dec 22nd 2023 cruise , I was thinking it would be less as that is the same price as on Royal Class ships. I think Crown has less loungers and no relaxation pool.

I had a 12.15 pm flight on Jan 6th ...booked by EZ Air .Made it on Princess transfer with no rush however it was a week day not sure if that makes a difference .Got to airport around 10.15 am .

EZ air to the ship for sure ......that served us very very well one tense time with a flight delay ...Home we look for the most convenient deal and price

Had a glazed ring donut every day on Royal ,looked OK I did not eat one . Stollen always wins.

We recently returned from Hawaii on Royal Princess and missed Ensenada totally due to high seas ,docked in SFO 2 days early . I wondered how the Jones Act worked on that one.

We loved the cabin , quite windy and I am short so could see nothing if seated on the balcony .

When I was on Discovery in October there was no extra charge . However on sea days there was a sign up sheet to use the area , i had never seen that before but seems they can sell more passes that way. I went and there were no beds available at all on 2 occasions . Evenings seemed better but i like to do evening stuff on the ship .

I am not sure if it is any cheaper but I do think they sell more passes than in the past . This last 2 weeks on Royal we got off 3 days ago on Sea days it was like the chair hogs descended , claimed a heated bed and stayed for hours ...I noticed 2 less beds than on some of the other ships due to the fact there are 2 water bed things that are bigger .in the place of 4 beds . Evenings were the best chance of claiming a relaxation spot . ..

We went to all our Ports except Ensanada ,docked in SFO about 6pm on Wednesday . Yesterday some folks went home early , we did not as our flights were today . Beautiful weather in Hawaii , great cruise .

I could set upon the Piazza with Tea Pots and show them how it’s done , maybe more entertaining than the Hula Dancing . Several new crew on this sailing ,one very kindly put heated milk from the Cappucino maker in my tea , bless his heart for trying to make this old gal happy . We do have strawberry Jam …
