We drive from S.C. on actually prefer Miami. We stay over night in Fort Lauderdale and drive 30 minutes to Miami. The port has excellent paeking, though a little high, but it's also easy to leave.

Who cares about the happy hour? I'd rather have the vouchers on my Sea Pass card to use whenever I want. That's an upgrade in my opinion. The change of hours is also an upgrade if you like to party after midnight. The only thing they took away for Diamond Plus was the Concierge lounge for suites. You are welcome to our Diamond lounge if you can stand us lowlifes without the plus.

We got off the Beyond a couple of weeks ago, and I would think the smoking sections are the same as the Edge, By the Sunset bar, above the Mast bar, and outside Eden. The one over the Mast Bar was the most weather proof as it's covered.

We have 2 Celebrity cruises booked, one in December which is a 10 day on the Equinox, then a 7 day on the Reflection for May, 2024, which we booked on the Beyond. We had booked the Beyond when booking first opened, then got good prices on the 2 S Class ships. Except for the Reflection cruise, the other 2 were booked before the prices went absolutely crazy. I don't know if we can go on another X cruise with these prices, though the S Class is way less than the E Class.

We have a 10 day Souther Caribbean cruise on the Equinox in Dec,2023, and a 7 night Reflection for May of '24, and we are happy with the prices.

Cruise ship plumbing is finiky. They use what will degrade easily.

Why would you blame NCL? The lot is New Orleans'. It's their responsibility to provide security like every other port does.

Forget what you hear about on board service. They are very good, and for the most part, friendly. They have gone from a mostly European crew to a mostly Asian crew, at least in the U.S., and the service improved dramatically. This is comparing 2019 with 2022.

Before the AI, we wee on the Equinox, and prior to the cruise I upgraded to the premium drink package. When I got our cards, they showed Classic. We went to customer service, they looked it up, and changed our cards to Premium. A little frustrating, but it was handled in minutes.

If you have a drink package, and you want to upgrade, you have to call. In fact, for upgrades, I don't know any cruise line that has it on their website.

If you're bidding on a suite, and it's accepted, then you have to pay the suite gratuities.

They will honor it. I don't think you have any worries as long as you have the conformation.

That's the reason I try to book as early as possible when the itineraries come out. My experience is they only go up from there.

The only t5hings I keep with me are my Sea pass card and a few dollars for tipping for drinks. My wife only takes her card and sun block, Everything else is in the safe.

When we booked the Reflection on the Beyond, we got the All IN. When we got home, I called Celebrity to upgrade the drink part to Premium with my Elite discount. Had no problem with this.

The worst thing you can do is cal customer service. They will probably compound the problem, and screw up the reservation.

If he's where he shouldn't be, then there's no way he deserves any compensation.

Not for me. One beach day is enough. I prefer the ports, and either Cocoa Caye or Labadee.

Sneakers are fine along with jeans. The only exceptions are torn jeans and shorts. Celebrity really makes it easy. If you want to wear shorts, try Carnival. By the way, on Carnival dress up nights require baseball hats to be worn correctly, with the brim in front.

We just got off the Beyond with the premium package, and the only times I wasn't asked for both cards was when we had the same server several times, and he knew our cabin number, and knew we both had the package.

We just got off the Beyond, and just about anything but shorts is OK for dinner.

My own opinion regarding a wedding on board would be to deal direct with Celebrity, and not a TA.
