  1. Just got off the Beyond last Sunday. The food was excellent, as were the shows, and the service was impeccable.
  2. If they are going to copy RCCL, then the bumper cars should be free, as with Royal. And Royal's cars are for 5 minutes.
  3. We just got off the Beyond and never saw any kids in the solarium.
  4. The Equinox only had a partial renovation due to the Oasis accident at the Freeport drydock. She had to go to Cadiz which cost it time, and not everything needed was available.
  5. We just came off the beyond and didn't dock before 7. The earliest off were between 7:30 and 8. I wouldn't book a flight before 10 A.M. to be safe, and not be a bundle of nerves going through security and the airport.
  6. It didn't take much time at all considering we looked at several cruises. I think we were done in about 15-20 minutes. Their computers are lightening fast.
  7. NCL is expanding it's menu because they no longer rotate. It's the exact menu every day of the cruise.
  8. I thought that there were talks a while ago about the Magnifica being brought here. Does anyone have any news about that?
  9. I can't answer you on the wines ,but doubles are definitely available. I drink JW Black, and most of the time, either the server or bartender actually asked if I wanted double. Not a problem.
  10. We just go off the Beyond, and booked a Reflection cruise while on board. $100,00 dep pp, all in pkg, $350.00 OBC V1 balcony, for what I consider a pretty good price. The rep was very helpful, and we looked at several cruises. She was accomodating and very friendly and took as much time as we needed.
  11. MSC's ships, especially the Divina, would fit in St Maartin, St Croix, Belize, Aruba, Curaco (pardon the spelling) Bonair, and probably other places. The Equinox does 10 day including Martinique, Antigua, St Lucia. The Dvina is about the same size ship.
  12. Except for our Eden dinner last week, we ate early and always made the 7:30 show. The Eden dinner at 6:00 took about 2 hours, and was fantastic, so we went to the 9:30 show. There was one adult comedy show at 10:30. All the shows were great.
  13. I seriously doubt they will make that kind of change to Celebrity. It's a totally different market, with different competition.
  14. Passengers have been complaining about the same old, same old itineraries for years now. There's no imagination with MSC. They can't use ship size as an excuse because none of the ships here are too big for any Caribbean port.
  15. Glad they made it right for you, even though it took a while.
  16. With AA, when you check in on their website, they ask about luggage and will require payment on line.
  17. Royal is slowly becoming an expensive Carnival. What's next? No table cloths, once a day cabin refresh (they are doing this on the Quantum soon in Australia), paper plates in the dining room to save soap? The list can be endless. Just watch Carnival, and Royal will be next. They are copying Carnival without the Carnival prices or free places to eat. Right now, Celebrity is a better value, especially on their S Class ships. We just booked an 8 day on Celebrity for next May in an unobstructed balcony with drinks, grats and $350.00 OBC, and the classic drink package for $3100.00 total for 2.
  18. Alexa was the Entertainment Director on our cruise next to Luigi, who left for vacation after our cruise.
  19. The ship is decorated for Christmas. Trees and garland.
  20. Captain Kate won't be back until just before Christmas as per Luigi, the CD on the Beyond on the 12/4/22 to 12/11/22 cruise.
  21. We were just on the Beyond last week. We priced a 7 day Eastern for April, 2024, in an IV and it came to over $4100.00 for a 7 day. We priced a Reflection for the same timeframe, for an 8 day Eastern in a V1 balcony, and booked it for $3100.00 with $350.00 OBC and the All In. By the way, we love the S Class ships.
