On the sapphire at the moment in the south pacific. Lobster has been served on both formal nights so far, but beef wellington was replaced last night at the last minute with tri tip beef. My two prime rib dinners have been horrible, but others have enjoyed theirs. Generally the food has been good and the crew outstanding

Just to add a bit, we have 45+kt winds today and the same forecast for tomorrow. Ship is moving around a touch. As far as we are concerned, the crew have been excellent, and the dining room dinner food pretty darn good. A ton of elites on board and the cut off for the MTP luncheon is 740 days. A number of new crew boarded in Honolulu yesterday. We are in the sanctuary today, and there seem to be more crew members than guests. It's shocking the number of front row loungers that are reserved but total no shows. Princess needs to do something to solve that. The local cultural show last night in the princess theatre was absolutely outstanding. All in all, a very good cruise so far.

We are on board now, and our Lido deck balcony has USB ports in each of the bedside lamps

we had a front facing balcony on the Sky for 28 days just after the start up...just the two of us. Our TA booked it when we told them the cabin number, and after we told them how to find it (under "insides"). Our DD and DS both had side-by-side forward facings on the Regal a year ago, and again, they were able to book directly with the TA. Our DD has a forward facing balcony on the Sky in January, and again, was able to book directly with the TA

or to make money...since people are still smuggling booze on board....

Will this get you to a Princess ship any faster?

They had them in the DR on the Enchanted earlier this year.

you will get detailed information sent to your cabin a few days before, but, yes, you will need to go through USA customs and immigration AFTER all the full disembarking passengers do. If you want to go ashore earlier, the info will tell you how. Also, you can re-board ahead of others if you wish. It is all very simple, and there will likely be a large number of people doing the same

That island only has about 125 people living on it, so I don't expect to see any equipment for rent.

We have spent about 120 days on the Enchanted since the "restart"...love the ship and the crew has been great. Try the Sanctuary if you can get a booking. Enjoy an evening at "Good Spirits" in the Piazza, and the International Cafe in the morning. A new seafood restaurant (The Catch by Rudi) has been added in the last dry dock and it is supposed to be excellent. When are you sailing?

with lots of time zone crossings you will have many 25 hour days.....
