I am due to sail on Britannia in 16 days time. The Retreat has been bookable for quite a while, but dining is saying available to book 14 days before our cruise, so will see in a couple of days. Will let you know!

It also shows up at security as you leave and enter the ship. -
We (7 of us) are not on the next cruise but the one after that, so fingers crossed she will sail🤞

Zenith and Meridian are the MDRs on Ariva, but 6th Street Diner, The Olive Grove, The Quays and the buffet are eating venues without having to pay extra. Booking for the first four is done via the app once on board as all are freedom dining, there is no club dining on Arvia or Iona.

Thank you for an interesting thread of your experiences on Iona.

Hope you have a great cruise, and look forward to hearing about it.. -
I've been on her several times, Caribbean x2, The Baltic and the Med all pre-covid. There are 7 of us (4 generations) and Mum is a wheelchair user, so we will see how it all goes. We do have fixed dining so that is one thing we don't have to worry about!

Glad to hear you had a good cruise, and thank you for taking the time to report and give a review on your trip. I have been on Iona,Ventura and Britannia before, and sailing on Britannia again in three weeks to Norway.

We were on Iona in January last year, with my mother and her wheelchair, and had no lift issues. Everyone was very polite and let us in first, the fact that is was January and sailing at half capacity possibly made a difference? Thank you, for another informative and balanced report, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your cruise.

No, it was accidentally. My mother had made the lemon curd and given him some telling him it needed to be used within a few days, so he had been using it and just put it in his girlfriends sandwiches without thinking.

I seem to have spent all day on my laptop, as first off I booked an excursion for my cruise on Britannia and then researched and booked flights to Sicily in October. Still need to book a hotel and train tickets, so that will probably be tomorrow's job! -
On Arvia in May there were a lot of queue jumpers, those that had just arrived at the lifts and also happened to be nearer the lift that arrived than those that had been waiting for however long.

My son has made sandwiches for his girlfriend with fish fingers and then added lemon curd!😲
