My Canada New England cruise still needs Covid testing , but a booster is no longer listed. We are vaxed & boostered anyway. Canada is listed separately from Enhanced voyages chart.

I did see a post that Guernsey port will not be visited by a Princess ship on Monday.

I have wanted to do the same, as I never see club class in the cruises I want to book. Had my March ‘23 booking marked “no upgrade” just got free upgrade from aft balcony to midship balcony right across from the elevators. sealed the deal. Holland America wins my business.

Looks like you have these options: 1. cancel & take the penalty 2) pay for required testing 3) get a booster good luck

Did you purchase Cancel for any reason princess platinum insurance? Requirements are changing constantly. Princess has been very generous with us- had 3 cancellations using Cruise with Confidence BEFORE their cutoff dates. good luck—- boosters were worth it to us.

To board in NYC for cruise visiting Canada you need to do Covid test prior to embarkation. Aug 24/22 update clearly outlines requirements on Princess website.

Maybe that changed since my cruise in May leaving Vancouver. our ArriveCAN was checked at the cruise terminal when we embarked. We disembarked in Seattle. No other Canadian ports.seems like many do not know what is needed. useless to keep this, I agree, but we do what we are told is required.

Thanks!!! Important to read the fine print! Princess travel summary & also FAQ S tell you to read up on government entry requirements. These things can change frequently.

Princess website dated August 24/22 clearly outlines what/ when Covid testing is required for cruises visiting Canada. You do the test prior to boarding. The ArriveCAN app has been around awhile now, and is not a big deal. We did all this in May & will again in October. If you have trouble with it then there will be reps at the terminal where you embark to help you fill it in. The reps answering the phones are mostly inexperienced and it is best to go with the latest updates you see written on the cruise website.

To OP: if your insurance is Princess Platinum you can use Cancel for any reason.

Sorry this happened to you. Not right. share your disappointment with all those at Princess who might listen.—- many cc members have provided email addresses & phone numbers in other threads on here recently. I had a similar experience being given wrong transfer time and had to find/ pay my own way to airport. Taxis aren’t cheap. you are owed compensation.
