  1. If you click on the words "Club Points" on that particular cruise, a drop down will appear showing the breakdown of how many base points and how many bonus points.
  2. Hee hee. Do you know what you just started???... I have 66 PUP's, 30 bonus points from a double points booking bonus and 3 bonus points from Go Green. I have to do further research against my PUP notes to make sure I have them all. But I think I must be missing some Go Green points. I wonder how many hundreds of phone calls to Captains Club this could have saved if it had been done from the beginning.
  3. A sign of improvements to come in regard to the website perhaps.
  4. Thank you so much for posting this intell. I was bored and reading through threads not on the first page and discovered this. I shared the info to the Power Up Points thread. Finally, Celebrity is updating their website?
  5. Sorry if this has already been covered. Earned Power Up points and Go Green bonus points are now showing up on Celebrity’s website. Log into your account and click on My Cruises, scroll down and click on Points History. The power up points are showing as well as Go Green points and the double points booking promo. First photo shows when I clicked on “63 Club Points.” I had no idea I even qualified for double points on this sailing.🤣 PS: I discovered the Points History button on the Go Green points thread that @NutsAboutGolfcommented on. Thank you!
  6. Thank you for the reminder about this Captains Club benefit. I always forget about the Captains Club one-category upgrade. Luckily my TA doesn't. In Post #9 of the following thread, I found the graphic showing the changes to the one-category upgrade program with the new stateroom categorization.
  7. Sunset Verandahs too?!? Now this is sounding more like a workmanship issue.
  8. Maybe it is the Magic Carpet that is causing all the ruckus. But is it only the worst on Beyond? An upcoming Beyond sailing recently had a great price on Magic Carpet Suites. There were twelve available when I saw the price reduction thread appear on here. They were all booked by the next day. Not sure I would be willing to risk the chance of having all this noise in my stateroom. I wonder if these three creaky cabin threads could be merged.
  9. Sorry for my curiosity and naivety, but I have to ask. Oil???
  10. True story. Theater patrons on land seen covering their seats in bath towels before taking their seats. Then the cooties are only on their towels not their clothing or themselves.
  11. I have been on a few of these similar to this. I have two booked and would not hesitate to book something like this again. Does that say something about me??? Seriously, the crowds that I have encountered have skewed younger and a bit boozier, but as what has already been stated above, not wildly out of control.
  12. We are really looking forward to mixing things up. First 7 nights on a new line for us on the largest ship we've ever been on followed by 5 nights on one of our favorites Celebrity Summit. I think Miami might be less of a hassle than Port Everglades when it comes to moving to the second terminal. We will find out.
  13. Great pics. Thank you for sharing. We first did this itinerary on Equinox back in 2018. It was a 10-night and included Key West. We loved it so much we went back to the ABCs on a 9-night on Equinox in 2021. No Key West or Grand Cayman, but we picked up Nassau on that one.
  14. We are doing a side by side in Miami later this year. Planning on staying on the first ship as long as possible. Will determined second ship's location prior to disembarking the first. Second ship is usually at the same terminal every turn around day. If second ship is not walkable will will schedule an Uber. If second ship is walkable we hope to hunt down a porter to assist. Worst case scenario we hail a cab. A new adventure for us.
  15. The last time I received a Celebrity Selects email was on January 28th and this was the subject line: Paul, take a look at popular 2023 getaways with an additional Bonus offer. So they apparently know who I am.
  16. Too many letters. Well then how about ULTIMA??? Ultima has the same number of letters as Beyond and Ascent. Ultima Definition & Meaning - Merriam-Webster https://www.merriam-webster.com › dictionary › ultima In Latin, ultima is the feminine form of the adjective ultimus ("farthest or last"), the superlative form of ulter, meaning "situated beyond.
  17. We also experienced heavy traffic from the port to Florence. We met our guide on the dock bright and early and ended up sitting in stop and go traffic En route to Florence.
  18. Well at least that is something versus nothing, even though it doesn't coordinate with Kelly's tone-on-tone color palate. I would thought they would have brought two table of that size, one for each of you. Did you have to eat in shifts?
  19. Great question. I wasn't quite sure how to answer. It gave me a chance to reflect on my ten past Celebrity sailings. I have done five cruises each on M-class and S-class ships. I have two more booked on Summit and Silhouette. I had lots of great memories on both classes of ships. And these experiences could have easily taken place on any other Celebrity ship: Summit -- 1st Celebrity cruise, 1st aqua (fabulous shared table mates) Constellation -- 1st Celebrity cruise with my husband Silhouette -- 1st suite Equinox -- 1st ABC island cruise, another amazing suite experience, Captain Kate Reflection -- 1st Med cruise I have never sailed on an Edge-class ship. The infinite verandahs along with the itineraries and the pricing of the non-infinite verandahs have always steered me away from this class. I know all of the new venues and public spaces on board the E-class ships offer variety and beautiful cruising environments. I am not opposed to giving one a try in the future. Both the M-class and the S-class ships have features that the other does not. I love the T-pool, Cellar Masters, and shaded, oversized Sunset Verandahs on M-class. I love the wider variety of public spaces including the larger seating areas in the Martini Bar on S-class. It is a close call. I am going to favor S-class, but I don't think any cruise on any Celebrity ship would be a bad cruise. All their ships offer a socially enjoyable setting. If I had to choose just one ship it would be Celebrity Equinox. Happy cruising!!
  20. The couple cruises we have taken in September have been great. The itineraries took us to the ABC islands south of the typical hurricane alley. Fortunately, those two years were no problem. But I give myself pause when considering September cruises since Irma and Ian both hit us during Septembers. Although last September we were on a Greek Isles cruise when Ian hit, so it was nice to not be in town to endure the storm and the power outage afterward.
