  2. Are you calling 1-888-751-7804? If this is about the promo code, explain the purpose of your call to the agent that answers. You should be connected with someone in "customer outreach" that can help you resolve your situation. I called yesterday and was assisted by a very polite and professional representative.
  3. I am just a tad late to the party, but I am so glad I took the time to catch up on your live blog. It is filled with helpful tips from your observations as well as the comments of others, such as unhiding the stateroom safe code and the stateroom key on the app. I might have to go back through it again and take better notes. It is nice to see a cruise from the perspectives of different passengers. I appreciate you providing the links to your previous blogs because I plan on reading them.   5. @Jim_IainWhat beautiful scenery. I do not think you could possibly post too many pictures for my liking. You gotta love iPhones. Now I am really looking forward to what you post in Iceland. It is pretty cool to be able to turn around and repeat the itinerary somewhat and have an opportunity to capture anything you might have missed or anything that was previously hidden in the mist. I will definitely have to check out the 2024 schedule and watch out for this itinerary. One question for you: Was the lamb chop a requested โ€œsmall portionโ€ or does it just look small because the charger is so ginormous?

  7. Ding! Ding! Ding! Glitch got it done. My TA emailed me back this morning. She told me because I booked direct she did not have access to my booking, but she called CC and the rep told her ALLABOARD100 code is only for $100 obc and AI glitch could not be honored. But the rep said they had another caller with the same problem. My TA suggested I call CC. I called CC to get invoice emailed to me while still on the line, no AI appearing on invoice, transferred to customer outreach rep, emailed him screen shot, received a call back from him an hour later reporting that he emailed the corrected invoice showing the AI. No explanation provided. In hind site I should have booked a 10-nighter. I keep finding myself plugging in that promo code. How many more times am I going to do that? Nevertheless all my thanks to @Stockjockfor posting about this (you deserve a commision) and the other posters for their advice.

  11. Sorry for going totally off topic here now. With the relabeling of the verandahs (I booked a soon-to-be-recategorized "Deluxe Verandah" formerly known as a 1A I believe.) do you know anything about any changes to the one-category upgrade policy. I wasn't too concerned with the upgrade since I don't believe the 1A category qualifies and I have a kray-kray price on the booking. But I wonder if the one-category upgrade will eventually be done away with as another way to try to improve the bottom line. Thoughts anyone? Or is there already a thread for this?
  12. Thanks. I did not call. Went through the website. Probably a mistake. Although the stateroom is shaded gray now on the stateroom availability and my credit card got charged. ๐Ÿ˜„ I will forward the info to my TA and ask her to make sure the AI is on the invoice. Ugh.

  14. Try a different sailing. I just tried a dummy booking on a sailing different than the one I booked earlier today and it seems to still be working for me.
  15. I do not normally book via Celebrity Cruises website. When does the invoice come? Will the booking flip over to my travel agent automatically since my last booking was through her? I booked today using the promo code to get the AI for the cruise only price on a deluxe verandah.   18. May I ask did you use a credit card for the entire purchase of your Experience More package or were you able to apply your on board credit? I'm sorry, but I am just trying to get clarification on this exact exercise. I am looking at the possibility of pre-purchasing the indulgence package, but want to apply my on board credit and pay the difference with a credit card. I have been reading a variety of answers on this. Thank you.

  20. Go to the category Ports of Call >>> Bahamas. You will find several threads that discuss Bimini. I have just bumped one up to the top that discusses the golf cart rental situation. This is a fun way to see the "real" side of Bimini on your own including beautiful, natural beaches with local flavor. Don't forget to visit the Dolphin House. This could all be done before lunch. Then you could head back to the ship for lunch, then hop on the free tram if you want to check out the Resorts World beach club before the ship shoves off.
  21. Agree! We showed up on our golf cart unannounced on a Sunday morning. We caught Mr. Saunders on his way out the door headed for church. He happily preempted his plans to give us his guided tour of Dolphin House at $10.00 per person. When we were done another couple came along to see this fantastic attraction. The highlight of our morning on Bimini.
