  1. Or would one be inclined to spend it before it is taken away?
  2. Only one of the two. My second booking is correct. My friend who is booked on the same sailing, same category has the same amount as me. I actually believe our overages are in excess of $50, but I told her I was going to shut up and not question the discrepancy. But here I go. My booking confirmation received from TA upon booking in mid-June 2022 showed amenities under The Retreat including $100 per person Free Shore Excursion Credit and $100 per person Free Onboard Credit for a total of $400 from Celebrity. I do not recall which promotion I booked during. I thought I recall my account previously showing $400 OBC for this booking which makes sense since my TA OBC never shows up until I am on board. Now my account shows $650???
  3. No prime rib here. I checked my December Summit sailing. Although the app is far from accurate as Day 5 only shows breakfast and it is a 5-night cruise. I can't figure out how to see my other booking in the app.
  4. I am really looking forward to trying this out. Any intell regarding a menu for this venue would be greatly appreciated if you happen to have a spare minute.
  5. The process is really quite simple. I emailed a moderator with three choices for my new handle. She picked one and swapped out my old handle for the new one.
  6. My immediate reaction to your post was this: HAL? Don't they have casinos on board? How could a casino bar possibly shut down at midnight? I suppose their DJ/dance party timings could be adjusted, so the parties all wrap up at midnight. But are HAL's casinos going to close at midnight, too? Unlike Celebrity, maybe there is just no one up late on their ships. I can't see Celebrity moving in this direction.
  7. Your day in Cabo looks absolutely incredible. I am so jealous. You are being so rewarded for all you went through during your first couple days of your saga. Many thanks for all of the great pics and descriptions.
  8. Hi Emily, On Celebrity’s site I believe you have to just go fishing. Coincidentally I was just looking at a Silhouette sailing in April 2024. I narrowed the search boxes to this ship and month and picked a date, book now, 1 stateroom, 1 person. All four of the inside solo staterooms on this ship were available for the sailing I looked at, but I found the regular inside staterooms to be less money for more square footage. Then, I emailed my TA and she said she might have group space that would price out even less. Silhouette is a beautiful, spacious ship. I have been on it twice.
  9. Bon voyage (again!) Sunset Bar was ALWAYS hopping on our Reflection cruise too. Quick ?? whenever you get to it this week, please. Who is the Captain? How long is he on for?
  10. I find the Sunset Verandahs on S-class ships like Equinox a bit too hot and sunny for my tastes, but mine is only one opinion. If it is a sea day and you are looking to bake in the sun in the privacy of my own verandah, what better way to do it than at the aft with the hypnotic wake noise below you, However, if you have just come back from a tiring excursion and you are looking to chill out in the shade, then a Sunset Verandah may not work in your favor depending on which way the ship is facing. Fro the best of both worlds, I favor the deeper angled verandahs on the sides of the ship on deck 8,9, and 10 because they offer both sun and shade. There are ten of these on each side on each of these decks. But sometimes there are booked well in advance. Deck 11 would not be an option for me because most of the angled verandahs will have the pool deck overhanging above them, so zero shade. So maybe those would be worth you giving some consideration. If you want shade on a Sunset Verandah, then you should consider the Millennium-class ships. Also a great point mentioned above about the S-class Sunset Verandahs are all looked down upon from the decks above, so not much privacy.
  11. I am looking forward to following along on your vacation. Really enjoying all of the pics and the updates from both of you. What a guy! Giving up your straw for the lady. How was the halibut? Sounds delish! Bon Voyage!
  12. Yes, please. I would love to hear the FLL wrap up. Also, I forgot to ask you this question while you were still on board. Who is the Reflection Captain currently? Can you or your lady or anyone else provide any intel as to how long he is on board for? I forgot to ask for a friend who is on board next month. I enjoyed reading your updates and I am so glad you had such a nice time. Thanks for sharing. Well done.
  13. Thanks for your report. All the pics and descriptions were great. There were a lot of nice Podium talks on your cruise. It seems like you really know how to relax and unwind on board.
  14. Hey CoCo! Hope all is well in the Mid-Atlantic. My total points seem to check out too. Although, Tim's tally is five shy of mine. I think I may have been granted a webinar that I didn't earn. Haven't had a chance to compare notes with him. Does anyone know when the next opportunity to earn PUPs will be?
  15. Thank you so much for starting this thread. I am looking forward to your report on the new ship. I will be sailing this itinerary later this year. Bon voyage, Radio!
  16. Head to toe cuteness in overdrive. Smiles and accessories on point. Was that a napkin rose that Jeremy was presenting you with in the other pic?
  17. Ahhh. I see. Thank you so much for clarifying. This unsolved case of the mostly-dry-while-in-port ships continues to unfold.
  18. I'm curious. Why do you find it strange that someone on here checks other cruise lines' forums? I for one do not find myself married to one particular cruise line. I find interesting insight on various forums on here. It is good to have options.
