Musings fron our S2S2B (long read)

It is how I always call at sea when I have the wifi. In settings just turn on wifi calling. Works for texting and regular cell calls. -
Musings fron our S2S2B (long read)

All you need to do if you have wifi is set your phone for wifi calling. Then you are using internet for the calls instead of your phone -
And what about the corporate ethics and morality? Sorry, but if we just go along with it, including raising it twice in a year while simultaneously reducing many services, we are just condoning it.

Which is why I always carry cash and tip everyone I want to tip in cash. But I do that in land based places too. I want the staff to be able to put in their own pocket, not have the employer decide when and what they get.

Sorry, but a tip or gratuity is intended for those you have direct interaction with. I tip the maid in my hotel room, but NOT the laundry people and I will do the same on a cruise.

Galveston, TX - Galveston Express Transportation
3yorkies replied to beshears's topic in Gulf Coast Departures
I have used at least 10 times. Never a problem. Very friendly drivers. -
I just got off Navigator yesterday. I did great specialty lunches for less than the cost of a quarter pounder meal at McDonald's but I booked in advance on Black Friday. I loved the fast service in the MDR and had two amazing servers. I never, ever eat in the buffet on the ship or ones on land. I saw all the shows I wanted by going at 7 or 10 since dinner was at 8. I had only three negatives. The pizza was not good like on a ship with Sorrento's, children were out of control with parents nowhere in sight and the ship staff just ignored it, and the non-smoking section was tiny in the casino with 14 of the few machines there shut down, and no enforcement of the no smoking, although I did persuade some to leave by pointing out the signs that were posted. The first night they announced a few times that smoking was ONLY allowed while actively playing, but then never said it again and did not stopped those who just came in to use the casino as a smoking room. But the diamond lounge concierge was wonderful, all the bartenders were great (love the Bamboo Room!), and my room was perfect. So I give the cruise a 90%. I already booked another and currently have 5 booked in 2024. Love cruising even with a few imperfections.

Both times I ate there for lunch I did that. I don't eat sushi, so there are 2 apps I love and then I do the beef dish for my main and the green tea mochi ice cream for dessert. They have never questioned it. I prefer ships that have the teppanyaki table though, as I love that!!! And I always order She's a Geisha for my drink

The captain told us in May that it would be done in late 2025. Hate the idea of losing my favorite diamond (crown) lounge and having those hideous slides added.

They still have life boat limits. When they are reached, no one can be added. -

I Lost Ten Pounds on a Transatlantic

Good luck on Holland. It has the most bland tasteless food I have ever eaten. I accused them of forgetting to even put salt on the ship. And if you can find a restaurant on land where you can get a filet for $20.00 good luck. I love the Chops and Giovannis lunch, as they have almost the same food for half the price. -
If the person on the casino comp does not sail, the other passenger is charged full fare. And they can't get another cabin if the comp is for ONE cabin for TWO people. So if it somehow slipped through I would say nothing but not expect it to work again. And the cabin must be booked solo to get the second point. (Not really double points, as if it is a suite it goes from 2 to 3.)

Allure Shows - anybody recently get off
3yorkies replied to hollon's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I love Blue Planet. My favorite show on Allure next to the aqua show. No thanks on Mamma Mia. Once was enough. But the aqua, ice, comedy, and BP I can see over and over. -
Harmony - Cabin next to elevator -Noise?
3yorkies replied to elh1's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I always try to get across from elevator, especially on larger ships such as Oasis class. My favorite deck is 8. I have never heard ANY noise from the elevator or stairs inside my cabin. -
Cruising right after Thanksgiving
3yorkies replied to shipgeeks's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I cruise that week every year as there are very few kids! I leave on Navigator out of LA the Monday after Thanksgiving this year. -
Hope this does not happen, as it could revert to the loss of our drink vouchers which are sooooooooooo much better than drinks in specific places at specific hours. That is why I don't cruise on Celebrity because I want to use my 5 free drinks when and where and on what I want, not choose certain limited drinks from 5 to 8 in certain locations.

Two Solo Gotchas, or RCI Screws People Again
3yorkies replied to SRF's topic in Royal Caribbean International
These have been the rules for several years. You only get the extra points if you BOOK it solo, which I always do.
