Oasis class ships are built to dock on the starboard side - there is an escalator on the starboard side that takes you up to the Promenade. There is only an escalator on the Starboard side, so if you enter on the port side you have to walk through some normally crew areas to get to the elevator or escalator.

Constanta is the biggest dump I’ve ever been to… looks like a war zone. On a par with Colon. The beer 🍻 was cheap though!

We have one day in port - have hired a car from 9a - 4:30p. We have previously driven to LaHave ferry, Lunenberg, Mahone Bay and seen the Titanic graveyard. Any recommendations if we travel the other way towards Seaforth or Lawrencetowns - looking for pretty towns that serve a good lobster rolls and good photo opportunities ! Thanks

Interesting; RCI have told me that they are not offering city centre transfers this year; they only have busses from the airport - so you may want to check that? RCI should, and I’m still awaiting confirmation that they are (otherwise everyone is stuck!), offer a shuttle to Ravenna train station, and you can catch a train to Bologna from there. However friends have used this company ( the lady is English so no language issues) and recommend them highly. There are dozens of taxis at the cruise terminal. By the time you’ve walked round trying to find your driver, you could be in a cab 🚕 and on your way! It’s 20 min journey at €39 set fare.
