    This wouldn't be so bad if cruise ship elevators actually were reliable. When I'm on deck 3, want to go to deck 9 and I have to wait for the elevator that's going up to deck 12 to return because the 2 others hanging out on deck 5 don't feel like participating, well...

    I don't think it'd ever be worth it to pay that much for a cruise just for Mickey and Minnie.

    Must be a regional thing. It's very hard to find in my area, even though the local health departments keep promoting it. And it's not at all a reasonable expectation that what amounts to a small clinic carry a full formulary of all drugs that someone could possibly need. And paxlovid isn't even recommended for everyone.

    If you don't want to deal with the limitations of sailing on a small 24 yr old ship, RC does have newer ones. Otherwise yes, she'll show her age and limited entertainment possibilities.

    And this is what the next and final step is to getting back to normal. Acknowledge the current state of what covid is and live with it and stop treating those who test positive so poorly.

    I couldn't tell you the name of any CD I've ever cruised with nor any experiences that start with "remember how great the CD was?"

    There's also the onboard stress of knowing if you end up testing positive, you get put in jail and treated like you have the plague when you have other people coughing up a lung left and right walking around with no one batting an eye.

    A lot of things that are a cold for most aren't a cold for some. But until you ask the cruise lines to be ready to treat every viral condition on board, then asking the same just for covid isn't worth it.     Covid is not running high on ships, especially compared to on land. Most people testing positive on a ship would never bother getting tested on land

    Once your profile is set up submitting trip takes just a few minutes. Then despite giving you a qr code, if you scan your passport at customs, you won't need to show the qr code as arrivecan is linked to your passport

    Mac and cheese varies a lot. Some ships it's actual mac and cheese and others it's buttered macaroni with a slice of American cheese on top

    The children's menu is more of a pub food menu than portions geared towards kids

    I assume it's supply chain. In March they had legit bread. Pre covid they had 2-3 kinds of gf bread

    Remember that 48 hours is prior to the calendar day of the cruise. Sail Sunday you'd have to cancel by Thursday

    Not exactly a lot of touristy type things to do in south Florida today though. Unless you're into street swimming.

    Canada's initial rules were 1 day but by April they changed it to 2.
