  1. Yep, since it's a vacation, hopefully most people can destress for a few days. And that sure will help with any lingering health issues.
  2. Did you take Relief Factor? (I hope I'm not the only one who has seen that awful commercial)
  3. This rarely happens. There are plenty of good, reputable 3rd party tour agencies that will ensure you're back in plenty of time.
  4. Yes. They've been doing humanitarian stuff, especially fuel for generators.
  5. Cancellations are now going into June at least.
  6. It has nothing to do with going "home" once in a while. It's just about taxes and other rules they have to follow (or better yet, not have to follow if they were flagged in the USA). And obviously those taxes and rules are the most favorable in those popular registry countries like Bahamas, Malta, Panama, etc.
  7. The same reason many US companies are incorporated in Delaware and many semi trailers have Maine plates.
  8. And the smaller ships are still big compared to competitor lines.
  9. $18.99 per day seems like a default sale price. $16.99 is the cheapest I've seen it in the Starlink era.
  10. The only time I sailed out of LA it was a PITA after the cruise getting an Uber. Maybe because we were going to LGB not LAX.
  11. There should be no stress. As long as you understand what you're bidding on (a cabin category upgrade might be seen as a downgrade based on location on the ship of that cabin), you bid, and you forget about it. Some crock pot logic. Set it and forget it. And if you win, great.
  12. No surprise. Experienced cruisers are an inquisitive bunch, for better or for worse. RC is probably hoping they can get Utopia out the door before they have to publicly announce the new class.
  13. There's no requirement to book airfare with RC in order to use the transportation.
  14. Yes, if the first thing you do when you get on board is get that photo, that'll likely be the first thing charged to your account, therefore using that OBC
  15. Yes, but, you can't pick and choose what to use that credit for once on board. Once on board it just goes towards the first X dollars charged to your account.
  16. The escort and the champagne are all you get https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/what-are-the-benefits-of-the-suites-program
  17. Sounds like you're connected in a way that it's using a DNS other than RC's, which is why login/logoff aren't working.
  18. Another tip on binoculars, specifically for the warm weather routes. Leave the binoculars on the balcony (if you have one) or get them outside to adjust to temp/humidity for a while before using them. Otherwise they fog up really fast even if you wipe them off.
  19. Agreed. "zero alcohol" is a trade/commerce/legal definition under a certain amount of alcohol. But if you truly need zero alcohol, alcohol free wines aren't what you're looking for.
  20. Alcohol free wines are typically alcohol-removed.
  21. On Adventure, the captain said 2028-2029 entry into service.
  22. Remember, cruise ships make up only 1% of all noro outbreaks.
