    Once the cruise is booked with a TA, the only thing you can't do yourself (besides edit the booking itself) is book pre-paid grats or change dining times (I'm sure there's a few other trivial exceptions). The cruise planner is open to you no matter how you booked. So are all check-in activities.

    At Port Canaveral? They don't check times. You won't be able to go to your room until 1pm or so.

    I was on last month and while the advertised times were 5-8 both food and bar service started at 4:30.

    Australia has different rules for a lot of things.

    There was a survey done about a year or so ago that found the number of first time cruisers who said they planned to sail again was significantly up.

    They won't. But newbies make up a bigger percentage of those on a ship than they ever have in the modern cruising era.

    Based on the numbers, most certainly yes. While I know it's just a single data point among many, my cruise last month was 3900 out of 4000 total occupancy on Adventure with nearly half being first time cruisers.

    I thought I've recently read that first time cruisers are at an all time high.

    Entrees come out one at a time. Apps may come at once.

    Only if you order a Don Johnson Miami Vice, not a Colin Farrell Miami Vice.

    Alcohol has the highest mark up of any product in a restaurant, so sure, going to the liquor store yourself would be a lot cheaper.

    Actually they're quite competitive with any urban/suburban bar/restaurant, if not cheaper.

    There essentially is another tier right now since D+ get extra perks when they hit 340 points.

    It's a status match on Celebrity, not a benefits match. You just get the Celebrity benefits of whatever status your RC one matches up with.

    Debit cards are always a tough thing to use for payment on board.

    Are you trying in the app or on the website? The website makes you do all steps before you pick a time. The app you can pick what you want to fill out first.

    A tip for next time: Go into the app and snag a time for all guests. Then later go back in and fill in the rest of the info.

    Adventure has been 4:30 to 8 my last two cruises.

    The GPS device is a necklace. This guy, despite his illness, apparently was pretty lucid in where he wanted to go and how he was going to get there. Kind of makes you wonder...

    Definitely doable. But could end up quite stressful.

    Go with the no show option.

    I always get asked. And the drinks go on my folio (at $0). But that's more to find out who's in a suite and who's just a Pinnacle who has to use vouchers.
