In due course, you are probably right, but I cannot see a cruise ship sailing for seven days, or more, across the Atlantic for example, on a single charge, anytime in the next twenty five years.
Interesting to see what Princess will do with their European/UK cruises this summer, as us Brits are not allowed to participate in the bidding process.
Perhaps Princess will raise the bidding levels, knowing that Brits might pay more to upgrade when they are onboard.
I'm not aware of any airline that is stopping people flying with Covid. In any case, how would the airline know ?
And, in all honesty, given the exorbitant costs involved, (which would not be covered by insurance) why would anyone decide to continue to remain in quarantine if it was not required ?
Graham, can't speak for Royal, but I have never felt pursued for tips on Princess. Service is better than on P&O, but I have never felt under pressure to tip.
